- Mothman - Amanda Mason and her boyfriend Tim set out to film a documentary on the case surrounding her missing brother, Dakota. Through a series of interviews, they uncover that Dakota was disturbed and troubled by an event months before his disappearance. After some time, Amanda is able to uncover a lost SD card and cellphone, containing her brother's story and what ultimately happened to him. This puts her on course to meet the one thing her brother feared most: The burning red eyes of Mothman.

Pretty good movie. The ending is really the most interesting part. In my opinion, this documentary leaves it up to the person(s) who in the end, believes the story/video is true or not. 🦋

It's just a bad movie.
Bad editing.
Bad direction.
Bad camera actions, like interference, and so on.
Some people like any movie, you are one of them.

If you want to believe if it's real or not,

Watching it at her house, I tried to talk my girlfriend into believing it's real, then by telling her, if she watches a certain part, her phone will ring and she will have 5 days to live.
When it got to the part on the movie, I turned my face away, she laughed, thought I was funny.
I had her home phone number set to call her on my cell phone.
When the scene happened, I pushed call, her phone rang at the exact moment, the phone in the movie rang.
What timing, scared the crap out of her, until she noticed her caller ID globe and my number and name on it.
The globe is like a crystal ball, it shows who's calling and it travels around the globe, like a plane flying an advertisement banner.
That could have been used in a movie, as believable, her initial reaction of fear was real.

One hell of a good job. This is a great example of a found footage mystery phenomenon investigative reporting movie. The investigation process was the highest point of the plot and the lead actress has done a perfect job all over the movie. The best part of the movie was the end of it. I would also like to tell you that the camera work and the audio were fine too. If you like this particular genre of movies then please sit down and see it.

NO MOTHMAN! People talking all the time. Boring as hell. Crappy, blurry Camera Red Light that reveals NOTHING but closeups of peoples faces pretending to be scared. Not a real documentary, this is a MOCKUMENTARY about a REAL CREATURE that is NEVER SEEN in this recording! Total waste of time. Only 2 or 3 night scenes of NOTHING.
