Those skulls still look amazing in the fire pit and the lights look like coils still burning slightly. Don’t be discouraged because you had to redo it. I’m tired of seeing fake crafters, be real. This was a lot of fun to watch!!! that last one turned out pretty cool when you plugged it in and I was really enjoying watching you wrestle that spray foam. THANKS for the cool video and ideas.
I have heard that when you put the mirror into a frame after spraying it like that that it shows up better if you put black paper or poster board behind the mirror. I LOVE all of your work, girl you got skills and talent for sure!! You are doing amazing!
Great video. I love that you comment on the mistakes. When using the expanding spray foam, fully saturating your hands with water will keep them from sticking to the foam. Also, door and window foam has less expansion.
I'm not into skulls but, I like the way the planter turned out and the mirror.... I appreciate all the work that went into it. As a crafter I am lazy and don't spend a lot of time on projects so kudos to you and others that do take the time .

Wow you had some excellent ideas!! The skull with the geode was cool! I think your skulls with the spray foam look good, great job on all!!! 💕💕💕💕 💀 💀💀💀
I'm glad you included your 'disaster' with the expanding spray foam. So many crafters only post their 'perfect' creations which can be very frustrating for folks that want to try it. Perhaps next time you can make your foam piece first and let it harden, then drill holes for your lights? I watched a video a couple days ago where the guy used a spray bottle (water) on the foam to keep it from puffing up as much as it would without it. Then he was also able to pat it down with his hands, layer, and spray again, and pat to get the form he wanted. You could also cut divots in your foam for the bottoms of your skulls if you want them to sit down in the foam a little. Maybe a skeleton hand coming off the side of the cauldron.
Girl that fire pit is amazing. I love it. And thank you for being real and showing mistakes. I make mistakes all the time and feel like I am the only one. So it's refreshing to see someone else make mistakes too.

Thanks for the fire pit ideas
Hot knifes are great for so many things! I think I got mine pretty inexpensive from Walmart and it has a bunch of different attachments. It is a wood burning tool but has the knife tip as one of the attachments
Loved each of these skull creations…even the last one with the foam! And that doll on the rocking horse sure added some real creepy vibes! Really loved this video so much and your creativity is awesome to watch. The decor in your home at Halloween time is so cool!!
❤❤ absolutely love the mirror skull and bedazzled skull , last year I did skelton hands and the mirror from dollar tree and made them, now I use them to hold my necklaces.❤ and this year I took a small 💀 skull the cup one from dollar tree. And turned that into a makeup brush holder. And I also made hear no evil and speak and see evil mini skeltons for decor
What do you mean the skull cauldron isn't your favorite & didn't turn out!?! It's freakin' awesome, & look at all the fun you had gooping around with that foam! Epic! I must try this. Think how cool flickering orange lights would be...
Using the moss sheets was a very good idea. I make Borax crystals and I think they would grow well on the sheets since they have something to grab onto.

@ 2:56 Maybe you could have drilled a hole the size of the dowel into that wood base with some white glue or wood glue which would make them more sturdy. These turned out really good cradling the dowel into the wood base they will last or hold up for years to come. also you could put sand or rice in the bottom skull before you assemble the skulls to weigh it down
With spray foam you can spray water over it with a spritz bottle, leave it alone for 3-5 minutes, and then a film will develop that you can touch. Gloves help too, and be ready to spritz it again. As long as you're gentle enough not to break the film you can then sculpt it into a shape that will harden. You will loose the puffiness if you do this though.
I believe the fireplace. Turned out awesome. Even if u feel u failed. U didn't. I don't feel. Love that doll. On rocker did u diy that. If so. Can u send me to the diy video of it
I completely understand about your mess. Just recently I made a Halloween prop and it's a tall demon ghost. I made the 'spine' from a long curtain rod and wrapped it in white tape. The 'shoulders' were made from a white curtain rod (the kind where the ends bend down). I used four white sheer curtains that were on the windows of my house when I bought it and they are perfect for the wispy ghost. I also cut the curtains in jagged strips so they move in the breeze which they do! I used a large Styrofoam ball for the head to which I attached a white skeleton mask to. The eyes of the mask were kind of deep and have mesh on them. I glued battery operated tea lights to each eye and you should see how they glow at night. Spooky!!! Here's the problem: When I attached the 'head' to the end of the long curtain rod I stupidly used cement glue instead of regular glue. I had forgotten that certain glues melt Styrofoam and this glue melted a big hole in the foam. I had to turn the foam ball upside down and use the other side which was fine. A lesson to all. Be careful what kind of glue you use with Styrofoam!!!! I had an old long black shiny wig I purchased a long time ago for another project that I never made so I glued it to the head of the ghost. The hair is long and stringy and perfect for a scary look. The 'stand' for the ghost like I said is a long curtain rod. I filled a mason jar with plaster of Paris so the prop would stand in the hole I dug. The plaster broke the mason jar which was okay (forgot it expands). Time to install. I placed the prop in the hole, packed the clay dirt in the hole as hard as I could. Perfect. Oh, I put a large Zip Lock bag over the plaster of Paris so it wouldn't get wet. There was enough sheer curtain fabric to create long 'arms' for the ghost so I tied monofilament line to each 'arm' and used two landscaping 'pins' to stretch out the 'arms' into the yard. Small strips were tied to the fishing line so no one would trip including myself. I then sat down and cut more strips in the fabric. It's always breezy here where I live so the ghost looks really good when those fabric strips fly all around. Oh and I put one of my solar lights under the front of the ghost fabric. At night it looks really good. I worked at a major theme park (retired) and we made props for special events and holidays. Halloween and Christmas is a big deal there. I wish I could post a photo of my ghost on here but of course I can't.

I Love the skull/mirror DIY. That would be really Great for a "wreath". You may already know this, but Home Depot sells black expanding foam spray too. It's used for filling in the cracks in outdoor fountains. Might work good for coals. Great video!
I did not know they sold black! When I was getting my foam I only saw yellow and white. I definitely wish I saw black it would have made this so much easier 🥰
I like the mirror project and have never seen this done before. Very cool. However, with the 'creepy cloth' put on, it's impossible to see the cool 'mirror'. You should make another one if you can find a cool frame again. This time leave a lot of the 'mirror' showing. Great job though. I like it.
What I noticed is that you put so much spray , bleach on the mirror to look edge, and with the black net, we didn't see the background of the mirror anymore, overall I liked everything you made for Halloween. Stunning! 😊
I like to try and glue the raw materials together when I can. You can definitely glue them after being painted but then the glue might peel the paint off and pull away over time
I LOOOOVE the last one. Ive been wanting to do something like that but adding a translucent paper mache type thing to make it look like the mirror is stretching. Super hard to explain. But if you happen to read this and know what I'm talking about to help me out with some ideas
I know what you’re talking about in terms of making it look like it’s stretching that was how my inspiration images looked but I couldn’t figure out how to get that or what they used
The skull coming out of the mirror looks awesome but why do all that to the mirror when you can't see it? XD Love all the projects though, seriously! I'll have to do some for myself^^ Also, just a tip for spray foam, once you spray it you can spray some water onto it and leave it for about 3 minutes, then come back and press it down to help shape it. You'll have to keep pressing now and then until it's completely set up but it'll help with the floofiness of the foam. I think you did a great job though!
Thank you for the tips! And yea I realized once I finished it there really wasn’t a point to doing the mirror. I thought it was gonna turn out different
Not my cup of tea this time around. However, I still think you had great ideas & your projects turned out well. That doll on the rocking horse sure is creepy! Also, your fingernails are very pretty!
Thinking about doing the skull stands❣️ Read thru description box twice and could not find the amazon glass crystals (?) you used on the side of the head.

That is just way too much work for those cheap skulls😮 You spent so much time on the mirror only to not see 99% of it. The skull with the glitter, add some brown & black to it’s teeth. The spray foam planter was the best price you did! Mistakes sometimes turn into works of perfection!
I'm always disappointed that stores don't have cheap, full-sized plastic skulls. I'm not asking for ones the quality of the one from Michaels for a $1.25, just take the cheap, one-piece ones from Dollar Tree and make them 50% bigger. I mean, the plastic is so thin and cheap that it probably wouldn't cost them more than an extra couple cents to make them larger. When you think about it, a jug of their laundry detergent probably has more plastic than those little skulls that they sell, and it's full of detergent as well. They sell full-sized skeleton hands (only left ones though), so why not a skull to match?
I do! This is my website. I don’t list everything that I make though only the things I feel will hold up over time and through shipping 🥰 ajdesigned.wixsite.com/store

Yea I noticed about that too. I thought it was going to turn out a little different but that’s ok
Amazing!!
I have a question, why didn’t you paint all of the skulls before staking?
You should have just put the creepy claws around the top of the head and draped onto the fingers to make it look like a hooded cape
You can also buy plastic succulents and they look pretty much like the real ones but you already knew that didn't you. ;D
😊
Not my cup of tea this time around. However, I still think you had great ideas & your projects turned out well. That doll on the rocking horse sure is creepy! Also, your fingernails are very pretty!
That’s ok not everyone is into Halloween decor. Thanks you watching anyways 🥰🥰
@@angelajonesdiyYou are very welcome! I still love to see your ideas & how you craft! 👍👍
Thinking about doing the skull stands❣️
Read thru description box twice and could not find the amazon glass crystals (?) you used on the side of the head.
Oh my gosh I’m so sorry I’m terrible at remembering to add the links sometimes. Here it is!

Paint the jeweled skull gold or gilt it?
Just think how you can fix these up for Marti Gras.
Oh, and do you sell the stuff you make?
I do! This is my website. I don’t list everything that I make though only the things I feel will hold up over time and through shipping 🥰

@@angelajonesdiy beautiful items on your website!!!
Why not use real charcoal briquettes and intersperse the lights under the coals as well as the skulls and bones?
Did she use rub n buff?
Yea!
Read about Hobby Lobby.
You need at least mask but respirator better when melting plastic.
