The cut & colour is sick but the braid isn’t so much her personality. It’s borderline super girly & old fashioned vibe if that makes. But it showcases the hairstylists skills & creativity which are good.
Yeah I really don’t like the braid but the cut is so cool
i like that they did an up-do for her. there's no masculine up-do, really. and if you go to a salon and pay for a finished style theyre not gonna put your hair in an elastic and send you out the door. the braids can be taken down whenever and give her a nice texture for a day or so.
it was about the undercut, but the salon experience is pampering.
This is such a fun haircut! I’ve never cut my hair like this but I love it on her 💛
🥰
It was a blast to work with these fantastic creatives. Thanks a million to Refinery29 for this stellar opportunity. I enjoyed every minute.
Hey there, if you don't mind my asking, how long did the color last?
@@sChick-vy3vi I don’t mind at all! It lasted until I had to chop it for a new design, so about 3.5 weeks. I washed with cold water which was, let’s say, refreshing. The only color that started to slip was the blue.
Undercuts make hair maintenance soooo much easier. Not to mention all the cool and fun design options there are 💜
I use to have an undercut for more than 3 years that was so much fun to be honest (cuz I was growing my hair for donation) now after I donated my 44cm hear I'm rocking a modern pixie at my 36yo and i couldn't be more happier 😊
I really like the final results. It was great being able to see the process.
I love Valerie and Dre's creativity.
What a kind heart to grow ur hair out natural just to donate it to others. 💜
Love it! She looks so beautiful. This hairstyle is so bold and cute at the same time. I really like the Hair me out series, because it is really informational (did not know that a undercut grows out that fast). Also the newly styled ones always radiate so much confidence after having a change of their hair style. 😍
This is a fine piece of art....love it!!! Blessings and light on your journey ❤💥💋💯
this is the SICKEST design i love this!!! i absolutely want to try this myself now
I love how queer coded this is without explicitly having to say anything. She looks great!
I've had really long hair most of my life, I really want to do something like this.
I love the haircut
I use to where my hair like this without the hair shapes in back pretty fun🥰💯‼️🎉👌🏼🎊🖤💛♥️
Watching this fun hair make me want dye again maybe soon
thats super unique!! awesome job
Freaking Awesome!
such a cute design!
Awesome hair but also I am also just staring at Dre’s forearm tattoo like why don’t I have that on my arm lol
I want gender neutral salons too! Hate to pay womans prices for a simple cut that takes less time than a mans
Did you not see all that hair she has and the fact that she didn’t merely get a simple cut, she also a geometric pattern cut in the back and got color and a style? If you don’t want to pay “woman prices” then keep your hair cut low. Men pay less for haircuts because they usually don’t have much hair to begin with.
Totally! It’s like the difference between equality and equity. Some don’t think there is a difference, but you and I know the facts!
As a hairstylist.. I want those scissors used to cut off ponytail
Don’t worry. When I have 14 inches of healthy hair to donate, that is exactly what happens! Chop chop!
Love seeing other gender neutral barbers out there ❤️
7 years? Your hair is at the stopping point, in 7 years it should be at your waist if it can grow that far.
I’ve donated my hair 4 times in 7 years. *active listening 👂 is all the rage
@@sunnyhamilton6441 you said I've been growing my hair for 7 years to donate. Not I've donated my hair three times in seven years.
@@ivyb4351 🤣 okay pal. Whatever you say.
Bruh her neck is so irritated 😮 edit my bad it's a birth mark
That’s actually a birthmark. I’ve had it my whole life.
@@sunnyhamilton6441 I know I didn't know untill it got later in the video I'm sorry I've edited the post
@@fayedavenport8687 dude! It’s no worries. I’m not in the least bit offended. You don’t know until you know; you know? 🤷♀️
Color and pattern aside, I don’t like how high she did the point on the undercut. Went too far up her head and wasn’t flattering.
Frankly speaking, it's looking ugly..!
Be nice.
True
Les goûts et les couleurs ne se discutent pas
@@alexac7210 it seems truth is always bitter..
@@shoaibmohammed4807 , I agree with you.it doesn't look good. An awful lot of time n effort for that result..
Looks ridiculous, especially on a grown woman.
