I unironically love listening to garret talk about video games. His explanations are so long, but there's a lot of references to other things to help understand what he means.

I'm the same. to be honest, I haven't seen any wrestling stuff in years. as a kid I got to a point where I was like "this is fake. omg this is for little kids" despite being a little kid myself and I never watched it again. but for all I know, it's still entertaining or funny or something.
either way, love hearing people passionate about anything.

Yeah, diagnosed with aphasia - a very debilitating disease. :(
It can form either as an inability to locate the right words to say: so speech is extremely slow and perhaps made up of just nouns. Or it can be a lack of comprehension, so the words that you produce may come quick and sound fluent, but are words that don't match the topic of conversation.
Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington's On Cinema at the Cinema is another great example of stories with timelines that exist alongside our own.

Live wrestling events are the best. My wife and I went to Lucha Underground and had front row seats. Brian Cage and Mil Muertes were wrestling and I got knocked over because they were so close to us before Pentagon Dark came from behind us and kicked his head off. Another match it was Luchasaurus vs Johnny Mundo and Luchasaurus got slammed right in front of us and I yelled welcome to Slam Town asshole! Because it was really into the match but then immediately felt bad. Luchasaurus if you’re reading this I’m sorry!
To answer Derrick's question, the obesity epidemic is still ongoing in the US and is arguably at it's worst due to the pandemic. :))

there's no way it's worse than my time in school. Domino's pizza and Subway avaliable for sale everyday at two locations, Coca-Cola sponsored vending machines everywhere, ice slush machines, candy, hot cheetos, pork rinds, burritos, pudding, and that's not even mentioning the horrible food items the cafeteria sold. Hotdogs Hamburgers, weird fake mexican food... You want fruit? Heh, how about like this one cardboard box of random fruit no one buys? milk? ppppft how about chocolate or cookies and cream? I can't believe what we ate back then. Eating a bag of hot cheetos and a soda everyday was the norm back then.
@@MakoSucks It's worse because the people that grew up in that system are now independent and continuing that diet. Also there are fewer children now so they don't outweigh (no pun intended) all the millenials with bad habits baked into their minds. That's my theory.

Garrett should check out the deadlock pro wrestling podcast. They review old shows, AEW ppvs and Dynamite and are easily the best comedy wrestling podcast where the guys know their shit real well on top of just having awesome banter.
Just a quick FYI, Cody and Dusty's last names are Runnels and Rhodes is a stage name. That's why he couldn't use it. Dustin never used the Dustin Rhodes moniker in WWE and that's why he was able to get away with it.

I love seeing the gears spinning in Rock's head about the million ways he could tear Will & the Smith's apart, but held his tongue like the pro he is. Will could not be more the opposite.
Get Out was really uncomfortable and the idea of being stuck on someone's head while they control your body is as scary as anything out there
