    1:31 WOW....that is the biggest stabilizing washer that I have ever seen. I can't think of any reel that has ever had that huge stabilizing washer!

    I saw on Alan Hawk's site that the Okuma Metaloid was canceled. What happened?

      Not sure it's just been pushed back over and over

      TackleDirect a lot of guys were looking forward to this reel. When the release was pushed back this winter, I just went ahead and got a couple Slammers.
      Maybe Okuma decided that they want to come out with a verwion of the Metaloid that will feature stainless steel internals, an over sized main gear, and sealing inorder to compete better with the Gosas, Saltists, and Slammers.
