The real question is how on earth do you decide, for example, which shower gel to use on any given day? I'd be standing there so conflicted for ages!

When I first saw your haul I was like "How does she afford all of these? Why do you need so many?" Then I started trying more and more lush products and learned about the kitchen (I only got into lush about a year ago) and my own haul is growing. Glad you're willing to share your stock and review products - it's helpful for someone fairly new like me!
It is so easy to accumulate things isn't it? When I first started, I thought having more than a handful of 100g shower gels was a bit extreme. Oh how I learned very quickly the meaning of the word 'extreme'. ;)

Glad someone else uses their out-of-date Lush shower gels well past their 'expiry'! I have had people call me 'disgusting' and 'dirty' because of it before, but if it still smells/looks/feels perfect, why waste a perfectly good product? Also would love to see the Comforter gel come back asap!

20 shower gels isn't 'too much' at all. With all of Lush's scents, it's hard not to have that amount! And I'm glad I could be used as an example haha! Enjoy your Violet Nights!

I'm so excited for Snowfairy to come out. I didn't get into Lush until last year and all I did was by a poxy 100g bottle of Snowfairy because a staff member couldn't believe I didn't know what it was.

We all have our hobbies and obsessions.. :) I absolutely love London and wish to travel there as often as possible, and just a couple of days ago decided to treat myself this autumn and booked a weekend trip just for me. You might have had something to do with it, since I've been going through your videos on my holiday and I want to go to Lush Oxford Street so bad! :D I was there a year ago and cannot understand, how I didn't shop effectively when I had the chance..

+Hanna A wise decision! That means you'll be able to take home liquids too! I had such a hard time when I went to Leeds and had to refrain from buying so many products because I only had hand luggage and my plastic bag for liquids was full!
im a huge lushie. not as many products as you but i do have a bunch!! it literally rips my heart out knowing that i missed the butterball shower cream. i have never wanted anything more than that shower cream it is one of my favorite bath bombs ever!!

strangest thing just happened. As I got to the part you spoke about plum rain shower gel I clicked on ebay to look up lush gels. First product up was ....Plum Rain! I'll taking it as a sign and going to get some. It does sound interesting. Amazing collection that you have.

I hate that you have to give the typical "how do you afford all that" disclosure at the beginning of the video. like I robbed a back, what do you think? obviously you went to work to afford a hobby that you enjoy. what a rude audacious question that some child will inevitably ask.

I LOVE it! As you say, you don't need to justify yourself to anyone. You work hard for your money..you spend it on what you love. There are absolutely so many worse things to become "addicted" to. Keep right on being the wonderful you that you are!
subscribed! so I've only become a lushonite?? lush addict?? etc. since a couple of weeks, and if I had your collection I think I would wash myself like 15 times a day.

Jen, as a huge fan of shower gels, and especially now that 29 high street has come out, what are your fantasy Lush shower gels that they have not ever made?
Mine would be Yog Nog, Smuggler's Soul, and Let The Good Times Roll.
Fantasy would be Angel's Delight, Mumkin and Smuggler's Soul sounds amazing as well!

I don't smell strawberries when I use/sniff Yummy Mummy. I still love it though. Plum Rain smells like oranges, which I love.

I had a lush in my city for years and I always walked past and one day I got curious and went in and now I have lots of stuff especially right now at Christmas. I love lush I’m going to marry it haha do what ever you want there are worse things you could spend money on. I loved this video! Your collection is amazing :D! My mom and I just got into lush and we are quite obsessed. I love how everything smells looms etc. I want to purchase more from them. I am excited for the Halloween and Christmas items that will soon come out. I was researching and they all look so cute and winer if they will bring some back again. I am excited about it for sure, especially since the seasons are changing and I can do a cocktail with seasonal aesthetics. Do you do cocktails according to the seasons too? like what reminds you of autumn, winter, spring etc. ?

That's a great idea for cocktails. I tend to base it on scent, colour or start with a product and work around that!

Aahhhh I love your collection, Jen! You probably won't remember but we did exchange a comment on a lush group, lol. I just politely asked if I could fan girl about you replying to my comment ahhaha! But anyway, Shower gels are my favourite too, mainly because I only have a shower. I've got a few, but I only get one of each of most, and sometimes I buy some from eBay/lush pages if I like them enough. I regret not picking up SDM, karma, Uluru, and BIGGEST REGRET is missing grass. i missed snowcake this week because now lush has clamped down on large orders I can't get group orders anymore so this week I waited til Friday to order and it was all sold out. I wasn't that desperate, I'm not a fan of moisturizing gels anyway because it doesn't agree with my skin! Loved the video! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see what you have to say about DITD SG!
Don't worry too much - those shower gels will be back before you know it! The Lush Kitchen does tend to repeat itself in cycles! I do remember your comment and thank you :)
They've clamped down on large orders? How did they clamp down? Certain limits? How come they're doing it? I was in a group of friends that made almost daily group orders to help split the cost of shipping. It was great because it allowed us to actually get things every day if we wanted and not have to pay $20 just in shipping per day. It was great for awhile and then they blocked us from purchasing anymore. We spent "too much money" and HAD to be reselling them for profit.. we weren't! They were all used by us! The only time anything was sold, was if someone didn't like the product/scent. We'd usually trade or sell amongst ourselves but that wasn't believable, apparently. I honestly think that by clamping down on group orders, they'll get a significant drop in customers. Not many people can afford $20+ in shipping every day. For some, group orders were literally the ONLY way they could afford to actually get Kitchen items. It's all so sad! I wish they'd just let us order every day (if we want to) and then put them in a single box and have a single delivery charge.
Yeah! one person would order for a bunch of people and stick it all in one box and send it out. It would work out £1 for everyday you order plus the shipping to you so 2.85/3.95(depending on method). So even if you picked up one thing everyday that's only around 7.85/8.95 for shipping. The week of 29 high street it was limited to 10 per person(this was a uninstigated rule before). The girl ordered 40+ for us (including international buyers) all along with all the other things we wanted and she was refunded and told she would get 10 only, she had to refund everyone and draw a raffle and I managed to get my hands on one! Lucky me! I guess if you're ordering between a group of friends and you order less than 10 of each item it would still work but as far as large group orders, it's a no from now on! Considering shipping for ordering every single day would be £19/£20 in the uk (not as much as an international buyer everyday obviously) Most people would save about £10/11 a week through them, which adds up yearly if you're crazy about lush like all of us. We tried to explain this to lush but it appears they don't care much, they even just copied and pasted the same email to all who wrote to them about this incident, and the email didn't answer a lot of our questions. I said I wouldn't buy anymore but who am I kidding, I love lush... But I do know a lot of people who haven't bought since purely because of the shipping cost.

You are turning me into an even bigger Lush fanatic. I like this video, and I also liked how you explain your collection and how nothing goes to waste. One question, you say you keep an inventory that keeps you up to date? Can I ask, do you use some sort of software or anything for that? It's just that I need to inventory my dog supplies, haha. I've had to throw out medicine before because it got out of date or i accidentely bought double and i felt awful about the waste. Could have at least donated to animal shelters, you know? You have a VERY impressive collection, so I wondered if you had any tips. [sorry, this is complete overshare and you must be busy]. Lovely collection, and the video was very informative. :)
Thank you! I'm glad I'm turning you into a bigger Lushie, it's not a bad goal to have! As for my inventory, I only use Pages and just have each part of my collection in categories. Nothing fancy - I just add products in when I receive them and delete ones when I use them up :)

Oh man, you are calling to my shower gel loving heart. I have lots of Yuzu and Cocoa (2 kg bottles from UK and one 500G bottle, which I will fill up from kg bottles), Rose Jam (soooo many 500G bottles), Lord of Misrule (I'm in the US, and am kicking myself for not buying more last year), and some Twilights. I got my hands on some Flying Fox, which I love. Also have Beautiful, It's Raining Men, The Comforter, and The Olive Branch. I'm really hoping to try Avowash soon as my nearby store is having an anniversary. I would have loved to get 29 high street, but knew they would go quickly on the kitchen and decided not to stay up late to try to order.
Another shower gel lover like myself - I love the fact that you have a lot of large bottles. 29 High Street will be coming out again soon so you'll be able to grab some then and enjoy that Avows - it's delicious!

I find the 500 ml bottles most convenient based on how I store them (stack a couple black pots on top of each other and one shower gel on top.) everything stays nice and secure under the sink-usually!
My local store just had an anniversary so I picked up Avowash for the first time. I'm not at all surprised you gave it a 6 bottle rating. It's amazing. I think if 25:43 smelled more like Avowash-a bit creamier-I'd be more compelled to wear it regularly.
I will keep my eyes peeled for the 29 high street gel. It's such a lovely fragrance!
+Rumer Priestly Though I haven't smelled the gel, based on the perfume, YES. It's more like walking through and browsing in the bath bomb and bubble bar section of the store, from my nose. It opens very powdery, lots of lemongrass-like Avobath. You pick up whiffs of other classic scents-Twilight, Karma, Honey I Washed The Kids-layered on top of each other. It's fascinating. I am interested to know how the shower gel compares; I enjoy the perfume a lot because those scents really develop and come out over time as you wear the perfume, whereas the shower gel is in use for a shorter time, but hopefully leaves scent behind on your body.

How much shower gel do you use in one go? Do you fill your entire palm to get it used up lol? I got SO MUCH Lush shower gel at Christmas, I still have most of it left. Part of me wants to use it in big dollops to get it used up, but part of me doesn't want to be wasteful so I just carry on just using small amounts, because even using a small amount it lathers up well and covers my entire body, so it's taking forever to get through them. I couldn't use all of the gel you have in an entire lifetime lol!! I'm still jealous of your collection though, it looks so pretty all sitting together like that :D
I am quite generous to be fair. I only tend to squirt out a 2 pence coin worth each time but I might use 4-5 of these across my whole shower/bath. I do tend to use shower gels as replacements for bubble bars as well so I use a few squirts in the bath as well - this helps to use more over time. However, shower gels last an awful long time so don't worry if you have loads - it just means you don't have to buy loads of gels this Christmas (unless there's something new ;))
All Things Lush UK hi im soooo tempted to stock up on my fave limited edition items but im a little scared if its more than 2yrs old it might be too old to use? Or is it ok? Pls let me know if its fine and up to how many years i can keep using them? Say i got a best before when used oct 2017 batch until when can i possibly use it :)) thanks!

Just a quick question what do you do with the shower gels that are out of date, by the way this is amazing
I still use them. They last years and years after their dates so I don't worry. If I don't think I'll be able to use them up fast enough, I'll just use some instead of a bubble bar and this helps me to use them up a little quicker, or I share them with my flatmates.
