    Holy cow!! After watching 100 videos on pavers this made the most logical sense and showed everything start to finish in a way that is very understandable. You are a phenomenal explainer and I am saving this video to reference. Amazing!

    Great video thank you! Can you recommend any videos or other sources for adding in 3 stairs?

      Check out
      Stanley "Dirt Monkey" Genadek here on youtube. He has tons of great content. refer to his retaining wall videos. Landscape stairs are essentially just different height retaining walls.

    Great video. Amazing job! After you put in your 6 inches of crushed gravel (what size), what did you then screed across the top with the piping? Was it more of the same or different for your remaining 3”?

    • @rockyviewyards
      @rockyviewyards Рік тому +1

      Crushed gravel is 3/4” (6-10” thick layer) and screed is 7mm washed stone (1” thick layer).

    Looks amazing..getting ready to do something similar and I was curious about the fire pit..I’ve seen people say the blocks used to make the fire pit can crack and break if there’s too much heat on them over time, how have yours been holding up?

    • @rockyviewyards
      @rockyviewyards Рік тому

      They hold up well, it’s good to leave small gaps in between the fire pit blocks to prevent smoke and let heat escape.

    What is the cost to do this project?

  • @robertcrescenzo745
    @robertcrescenzo745 2 роки тому +2

    Ok what was the cost per sq ft. This is what I'm interested it. Nothing fancy

    • @rockyviewyards
      @rockyviewyards 2 роки тому

      These pavers can cost between $4-$6 per square foot to buy but the base prep and other materials will add up too. To pay a contractor to do it will increase that price per square foot.

    How much did the materials cost?

      The materials would cost much differently depending on where you live.

    It is good that you do not have frosts and such a technology of site preparation can be used in warm countries.And in Russia, only amateurs do this)))
