@@saravananperumal8157 Ganesha Sukta has been picked from 3 different suktas in Rig veda. The first part is addressed to Indra and then Ganapati. This may not be the puranic ganapati you are refering to.

@@saravananperumal8157 no this is not entirely the puranic ganesha, Ganapathi means (Lord of Ganas(Categories)), as from categorisation of given knowledge produces definite Knowledge i.e knowledge with defined outline therefore leading to a much deeper insight giving us wisdom. This is the vedic, the puranic is the amalgamation of this and various other types such as vinayaka(The one who wins over any obstacles) and so on..
Veda mantras should be chanted only more than one person particularly ganesh mantra should be by 8 bramins shanmuga mantra by 6 persons. Ruthra mantra by 11.persons.
