- Hello awesome people, thanks for tuning into the channel! Today, we get into a rare product from back in 2002--it's a box of the high-end Fleer Flair Baseball!
This is a really unusual product that I have never seen opened on youtube before! We pull some nice HoFers as well as something special! Let me know what you think of this product down in the Comments below : )

I was in AZ when the Diamondbacks began. Matt Williams was "The" star on the team. It was their first signing of someone with a name, so when you went to the game, there was at least one player with some clout. Good times!

Was always a fan of this set, I remember opening a bunch of football and basketball of the same product with the same design back in the day. I really miss Fleer. The hobby took a huge hit when we lost them as a stand-alone company. They had so many great products, Flair, Metal, Ultra, Focus, EX, all the Skybox lines, etc.
Also, my hometown bias is so strong that it was completely jarring to me for a moment when you said you didn't remember those players as Diamondbacks. They are so obviously associated with the other teams they had long, storied tenures with before their short stints with Arizona, but I can't help but think of them first and foremost as D-Backs because of the 2001 World Series.
Ryan! I miss Fleer as well! They really made some nice products. There's a pack of Metal in the dorking box right now, and everyone always loves seeing that. I have to confess that I think because of 9-11, I have kind of blanked on the 2001 WS. I should find a way to go back and watch it because I honestly could not have even told you the D-Backs were in it, so I have no memory of what happened. They could have been playing a team from Mars...

They are beautiful. I'm just sitting watching enjoying it as I've also made salsa. Let me tell you, you could almost tell the difference between homemade and store-bought

Brandon Inge was a solid utility infielder/catcher. Pedro Martinez is in the HOF. I really liked the design of these cards. I don't know that I've seen these before.

Flair were such beautiful cards as you said, but I rarely see these later releases featured so I am so glad you unearthed this from your stash and shared it with us 😃 By the way, the time is now with Ichiro IMO, snag a couple before he goes in!

Thanks for sharing the box CW! That's a really good looking product and that was a fun first look for me. Really started hitting those HOFers toward the end and would have hit 10 easy if some of those folks had laid off the PEDs. Take care and good luck on your next rip.
