Yeah, I agree, the story suffers from some awkward descriptions which affects the continuity of it. Then again (if the account is true) a teenager wrote it, so he's still learning.
He meant like going from the basement part to his room in the basement. My bedroom is in the basement, so I’ll say that I was in the basement and then I went to my room because what else are you supposed to say 😂
