Appreciate it! Great catch haha, I have a few channels in the wedding filmmaking world! Wedding Film School, The Wedding Film school Show, and my production company, Redmond Digital Media!
@@ThePickleballBlast Very solid! Welcome to pickleball YT. I always appreciate the effort put into quality audio and B roll. Makes perfect sense given your successful background with videography and content creation.
Appreciate it! I haven't played with the monarch but from my recollection (assuming you're comparing to the pb apes v), the shape is a bit different as it flares out a bit, the handle is longer, and I think overall the all court was like a standard shape paddle that was trying to go more pop / power so a bit different there. Though side by side I don't know. Hope it helps!
These are gonna sell in big numbers! 😂 After all the Joola gen3 hype, and the delays on general availability of the new Ronbus, lot of reviewers that have them aren’t playing with them…I noticed a few others prefer this paddle as well… will be interesting to see what other similar Gen3 paddles get released as companies similar to Pickleball Apes (high quality products, lower prices) get their new products out. After thinking we’d all need to drop $250 to get Gen3 paddles, it is a pleasant surprise to see these lower cost paddles released…especially those with a nice power/control blend.
Agreed! I think a lot of it too is that plenty of people just don't need the power and pop that some of those paddles provide especially at the cost (both $ and what you're sacrificing). Super pumped to see some of the smaller players venture into the gen 3 zone! Sometimes it can be frustrating seeing so many companies out there, and seemingly new ones every month, but in the end the consumer wins so it's a good thing overall!
What do you think between the Pulse V and Honolulu J2Ti? Beginner/intermediate player here who has tried a Mach 2 Forza (and thought it needed a bit more power) and a 6-0 DBD (thought it needed a bit more spin)…. Thanks!
I have not played the j2ti so I probably can't really speak to a direct comparison. The pulse has more spin than the DBD in my experience so should check that box. And again it has that power even though it doesn't seem or feel like it does, but for a specific comparison I don't think I can speak to that. Hope it helps!
Twist weight on the V is crazy. Not a standard/wide body player but have heard a lot of great things about it. Watching John Kew's review today and it's cool to hear about his 2-week break in period with it getting hotter, but not in a core crushing way. Love the 30-day trial so I ordered both the V and S.
Yah that break in period was what prompted that meeting with the owner. I had a brand new V that hadn't been hit and my buddy Matt (Matt's Pickleball) had a V with probably over 10 hours or so on it. You could definitely feel and hear the difference. And speed tests were a bit higher with Matt's. Sounds like their tests indicated it was just an initial break in and nothing to worry about, which I expected to be the case, but the paddle gets even better after using it a bit!
@@ThePickleballBlast yeah, I hope they don't try to "fix it" and keep the paddle at its starting metrics. Sounds like the break in is gradual and the added heat afterwards just makes it better, what Kews called the Goldilocks stage. 😀
I don't think they'll change it! And seriously, real nice getting to play outdoors when we can, but we'd be at a distinct disadvantage without them haha
Haha love it! I literally just started this channel like 2 weeks ago but my background is video production for a very long time as well as youtube with some other large channels I own! I'll definitely be doing some collabs with companies for some giveaways in the future! Appreciate the comment and glad you can see the production value!
I can see this channel is going to be a top paddle review channel. Great video. Any chance you plan on reviewing Prokennex's Black Ace Pro and/or DLR?
Means the world, glad you're liking my stuff! Would love to, but I haven't been in touch with them yet so we'll see
When I saw the promo video pickleball apes released I knew it was your work. Your quality is up there
Haha love that! Yah the've been super cool to work with!
Great video/lighting quality and set design! I spy the YT play button in the background. What is your other channel?

Appreciate the love! Yah it was pretty much a no brainer to get into some pball content!
Great review! How is the power and pop compared to the monarch all court?

Who are you? WHY IS YOUR PRODUCTION VALUE SO HIGH? You should do some giveaways, to get that subscription figure up. Great job!
