- The investigator was hired to conduct the internal investigation on the Uvalde police for the failures by police on the day of the Robb Elementary shooting
The fact that they did nothing just stood there like a bunch of f*cking cowards while those children screaming and crying while that psychopath is shooting and murdering them right before their eyes, those officers will always be labeled as COWARDS AND A DISGRACE.

Every cop that tried to breach was removed from the premises.
That 100% does not describe what happened that day. Not really. It was a colossal fuckup by essentially one or two people in leadership positions running that call. No one is calling them cowards except ignorant clowns who don't know anything.

One officer is the one photographed looking at his phone. His wife was one of the teachers who was killed. He attempted to save lives and was disarmed and removed by his fellow officers.

I remember there was a mom she ran to the school while the cops were there rescued her two daughters (I believe) with no guns, bullet vest, had more balls then the Uvalde police dep. I’m so sorry for the families lost.
The worst part is they harrassed her after she spoke out about it and always drove and flashed the car at her house! The kids had to live somewhere else and she had to deal with the police, idk how it is now but at the time they were mad she spoke up that she went in

I was a cop for 20 years have had lots of active shooter drills and training. Every cop that showed up there failed their training, or were cowards, full stop. How in the hell did this guy come to a different conclusion? That report isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
The investigator said afterwards, “I’m not paid to listen to insults, I’m paid to make up facts”.

They were never good for this kind of thing. Everyone talks about Uvalde, but if you watch footage from all the other shootings...it's always the same. Cops don't want to die for someone else, they are not hardcore operators. These aren't navy seals. People like that go to war, they don't become town cops.
Everyone needs to adjust their expectations. Cops never saved people from threats. Self defense is the only way. It always was. Why would cops get in front of a bullet for your child? It doesn't make sense. They aren't paid anywhere near enough for that...they spend most of their time giving traffic tickets.
They broke policy a number of times:
1- Most of them did not wear N95 masks
2- Not all of them stopped to use the hand sanitizer in the hall way as per covid prevention requirements
3- Social distancing was not consistently observed
Those violations will be further investigated by a separate task force in coordination and guidance with WHO and CDC Emergency - All peace officers involved are urged to review their regulations and guidelines booklets.

They do get paid enough, actually they are extremely overpaid. 99.9% they sit around doing nothing, but we pay them huge salaries with benefits so when something like Uvalde goes down, they're good to go. The police's job is to enforce laws and uphold the Constitution, not to "protect and serve." Unfortunately many of them don't know the law very well or violate them and they certainly have little respect for our civil rights.

Second the shooter shot 100 plus rounds before police arrived. Those children were already dead.

Should the one that got vehicle moved so EMS could get in be charged? Should the officer who got shot at and sharpen still lodged in his head be charged? Should the old that turn up and was told BORTAC was about to do the breach be charged?

He wasn't hired to investigate. He was hired to produce a report the defense lawyers could quote in court. Read the report title.
Such a contrast with the Nashville shooting, where police charged in and cleared the building in minutes.

@@johnnydjiurkopff Dereliction of Duty sounds like a violation of department policy, not criminal. While "criminal negligence" is a crime in Texas, I think Warren v. District of Columbia supersedes for law enforcement, as they are not an "ordinary person" as in the TX penal code.

Waiting outside an active shooter scene while children n teachers were massacred in the classroom for more than hour is a standard police department policy, that is really a refreshing revelation coming from this investigator.

He reached the conclusion, the city told him to. Because it said he knows that if there was 1 ounce of accountability in that report, they would be on the hook for lawsuits. The citizenry in Uvalde must remove the entire city, Council mayor, police, force, etc..

Law enforcement is not required by law to protect you from anything. So why do we need them and what do we need them for?
Elected officials need pawns to protect buildings and act as a distraction when the officials need to hide. They’re just pawns and flesh barriers for the wealthy and nothing more than property being used. Without them elected officials would fear the public and face accountability for their actions. The police are the true societal slaves and just want to make the public feel the fear and lack of free will that they feel every waking moment.

They have no duty to protect any one individual, BUT they do have a general duty to act to protect life and property within policy and law.

Warren vs District of Colombia(1981), which involved police not protecting three women during a home invasion, ruled that 'a government and it's agents are under no general duty to provide public services, such as police protection, to any particular citizen.
In the above mentioned Castlerock vs Gonzales(2005), a court ruled that police are under no obligation to enforce a restraining order.
The Supreme Court has upheld similar rulings.
The Police have NO duty to protect any one of the general public. Police are Law Enforcement. They enforce laws, that's it. If a person is under threat of harm, the police are under no obligation to step in and help the potential victim. They are only obligated to stop the criminal after the fact.
This was made clear during an altercation on a New York subway, in which a knife-wielding attacker went after some people. A good samaritan stepped in and stopped him, getting wounded in the process. Two NYPD officers were watching the whole thing through the window of the door to the next subway car. After it was all over and the attacker was under control, the officers stepped in and took over. The good samaritan had to get his knife wounds stitched, and brought the cops to court for failing to 'protect and serve'.
The judge overseeing the case ruled that the two NYPD officers acted well within their sworn duties.
That ruling has been affirmed.
Cops are not your protector. They are enforcers. If they happen to protect you or others in the course of their duty, that's because the cop in question decided to do more than is legally required of him.
What is everyone shocked about, that they investigated their selves and found that they did nothing wrong or that they put out a report that cost $100,000.00 that cleared themselves. This is what you are paying for folks. Keep paying them taxes. They appreciate it.
The conclusion should read that they were cowards and should be shamed for eternity.
If I were one of those cowardly cops, I would resign my position in disgrace. Beg for mercy. Exile myself by moving out of state, never to return and would never accept a law enforcement job again.

I believe him when he says, "no policies were violated." I've learned just recently that it is very common practice at police Academies to teach the police that their lives are more valuable than those of the citizens they are hired to protect. The SCOTUS, has declared that it is not law enforcements job to protect you.
Police have NO obligation to protect any particular individual, even if that person has a restraining order against a stalker. Police can ignore that RO without any liability at all.
@@ls7196that’s good and well but why stop parents from protecting their own kids? Police actively prevented parents from entering the school that day. They can’t have it both ways where they don’t have to protect the kids but also force parents to stand back while the police did nothing to stop the shooter.
They need to be held accountable for at least one of those atrocities

This department bragged on their own Facebook pages about their new safer equipment to handle the types of weapons that were used that day.
Again on their own Facebook page's they bragged about active shooter drills that took place at the local high school, were students were apart of the drill. And how they were prepared and ready to stand up for children.
They bragged about their SWAT team. How well funded and trained they were.
And on that faithful day close to 400 cowards from multiple departments showed up and hid like babies. Those children in that room had bigger ball's, than nearly 400 grown men and women.
Decades of training, some even veteran's before becoming officer's. Wasting millions in equipment and training for them to hide.
They claim to care about their brotherhood and officer safety. They pound their chests on how much they care. Where were they when one of their own brothers wife was dying in thay classroom? A teacher tried to help and protect the children in that room, more than nearly 400 overly paid and overly trained cowards did.
They are each sick disgusting disgraceful pieces of garbage.

The police chief was in charge and totally botched this up I put most of the blame on him. I saw the original senate hearing and theysaid the police chief effed up badly. And it wasn't this guy who presented the invest.

I think they should all be charged as accessories because it seems to me like all they did was keep a parameter and arrest people to keep parents and others from going in to save kids so the shooter could do what he wanted.
