    The random point is for when production user the zund cutter they'll know if the item is upright. This is more for production so they know how to place the vinyl or whatever they are using.

      Thank you for responding! I've waited a year for someone to explain. My client that inspired this script could only say, when ask why random, "Because that's how we do it." I always yearn for more then "just because." I am freelance remote prepress so in most cases I am not able to speak directly with machine operators who know the answers, unlike the old days when I worked in a plant and could stroll into the production area and chat. So my next question for you is if the current functionality is sufficient? Is 1 point random enough? Or any aspect of how it works, if it could be better, I always welcome the feedback. The quality of my scripts is largely because of user suggestions. Again, thank you.

    It would be awsome if you could specify the size of the dots. This would be particularly usefull when working at scale.

      Can do. Just never had the option up to now because no one asked. Well, you changed that. Shouldn't be a big deal to add. I'll reply to this thread when I have an update. Thanks for the feedback.

      Done. New version 3.5 is live on the website: www.marspremedia.com/software/illustrator/cutter-reg-marks
      Let me know if that works OK, or if it needs adjustments. Thanks for the feedback.

    can you make a script of duplicating multiple artboards for more than 1 time

    • @wc7
      @wc7  2 роки тому +1

      I think so. But explain more. You want one artboard duplicated more than once? Or multiple artboards, duplicated however many times you tell the script? Illustrator makes us go the long way around to get copies of entire layers or artboards, but it can be done. Give me an example of what you want to happen and I'll add it to my list of requests (might be a while -- the list is long, but I will get to it).

      No. Not designed for anything but Illustrator.
