Love that you're opening up the chest a little bit more Buckin. That's where that good eternal fruit is going to come from. I pray you continue to grow in boldness and power to speak the truth in love this year, at every opportunity, to answer for the hope that is in you, in Jesus Name so be it!❤
Did your super glue tric on my newly restored axe handle protection rope wrap. Tks for this tip Billy Ray and I wish you and your love one health for 2025.
Happy New Year Buckin! Love your axes! I've been harvesting exotic hardwoods and making my own axes for a several years now and enjoy it immensely! God Bless and hang in there for '25!
Some of your best videos are halfting and I learned so much I just fixed my 6 pound Adler super splitter and a awesome 8 pound maul my dad gave me, the 48in red oak is getting the business tomorrow. Thanks Buckin
Buckin…. I have to say brother…. The inspiration that I have found through your channel is purely intoxicating. I’ve purchased quite a few handles from house handles and gonna give hafting with a spoke shave and draw knife a go. I’ve been collecting heads for 2 years now and I think it’s time. I would love everyone who watches this channel to enjoy the love of saws and axes and to see what they can craft with their own two hands. It might not be perfect the first time, but practice makes perfect! Love wins
You make me laugh, Buckin! So cheesy, so genuine, so authentic. I don't find myself here too often, but when i do, its always a great time. I'm glad our electronic paths have crossed and hopefully our physical paths do the same one day! Until then, cheers my friend. I hope you find health and joy in 2025
Happy New Year Buckin! I need to get me a draw knife and spoke shave, might make hangin axes a little easier than my files, rasps and pocket knife. Good messages here again as I celebrate 26 months now of sobriety. The axes and powersaws have helped me beyond measure. Best wishes to you all.
Try a sanding disk/flap wheel on a angle grinder, they make it quick and easy. I have them in a couple different grits, the 40 grit is fast for getting it close then I finish it off with the slower 100 grit so I dont take too much off.
I have 4 draw knives, and my absolute favorite is a beaver craft 4inch that I broke the handles off and had 2-inch washers welded on. If I could have only 1 tool for handle shaping, I'd either pick it or a good quality Bowie knife. They work, too. Be careful not to pull wood too far in 1 direction. I thank Buckin for his lead to the rabbit hole.
I just halfed a cool vintage 3.5 lb jersey head on one of your wedge banging handles. I’d love to get your feedback on my job, but I’m really happy how it turned out. Of course, I owe all my knowledge about axemanship to you amigo.
Experience is always the measure of success and quality. How much one can watch and save themselves a lot of disappointment. You’re a little crazy but man you are good at making a quality tool. 😂👍
Happy New year everyone , a fresh start for those things left undone or unattended last year , I have some , i really hope the world becomes a kinder place because it's needed and there's so much that needs doing with positive energy to invest in our collective future . Being kind can be infectious, it spreads but you don't need any vaccine 😁
Buckin another top show in the the bunker building axes 🪓 l thought you have would have jumped on the drum 🥁 kit for a bit 🌳🪵🪓✊️Happy New Year Johno Australia 🇦🇺
If you dip your handles, spokes, spindles, rungs etc. in a hot sand bath before inserting they should virtually never be that dry and shrunk ever again and will require little if any wedges, glue, pins, nails etc. Windsor chair maker trick. Let them swell in the hole.
I have a question? Can I buy stihl parts online anywhere other than going to a dealer? Or can you recommend parts that would work for my ms 311 ? Dealer takes forever . Need a drum and clutch soon ,I believe, thanks so much.
Hey Buckin, quick question for you. I just got my 500i from rip saw and it was running good and I started it this morning and it died and I can’t get it turned over again. I am truly at a loss and I’m trying to do some research and there’s just not a whole lot on troubleshooting this chainsaw. I have regular gas mix with two stroke. Do you think it needs the 95 and do you think the computer is not recognizing that
👍Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a great year! Thank You Buckin Billy Ray for all you do! 👍
Not a religious man but you are a preacher with followers! Thank you.
