Thank you for the comparison video. I bought the Ride tech kit with the sway bar, track bars and, air bags. I am putting the kit on an extended or "supercab" in the next couple of months. Glad to hear it is a good kit.
Just towed 6k pounds and it was very comparable to towing when it was stock
@@aldoshifts8395 That is awesome. I have a trailer that is going to weigh about the same.
I went with VAS 3/5 with Viking shocks all around including their traction bars and front diff brace and I added the IHC helper bag kit.
Sounds like a good setup, I’m assuming you’re a 4x4 with the front diff brace. How do you like the ride quality and performance aspect of the kit?
It rides good thanks to those fully adjustable Vikiing shock and absolutely no wheel hop. I used to get wheel hop with stock suspension. I have 15 lbs of boost and suspension holds up nice.
Great video, love that you included pricing and your own first hand opinion.
I have a 23 Lariat with the 5.0 Not sure how the crew cab would look lowered but cant do the two door as I need the extra space of the 4 door.
They look good on the bell tech 2/4 lowering kit, the 3/5 lowering kit might be a bit too low where you’ll run into clearance issue with a full cab / load. Lariat is a perfect trim I miss my 22 Lariat at times 😅
Those wheels are beautiful. What offset/backspacing and width did you go with?
Ihc offers rear helper bags too
I’m curious to roughly how high the seat is from the ground??
What about belltech suspension?
Which one is more comfortable ?
Do you think or know if the vas suspension is good for just daily use ? I just got a 2023 single cab and I don’t plan on doing any motor work soon just trying to do cosmetics and get it lookin good first
I know of some people that have it on their weekend warrior trucks but not a true daily. I wouldn’t see anything wrong with it, but I would recommend getting new shocks once you start racing it to make sure they’re valved correctly.
Have u had a fault at all for ur active air damn when lowering your truck?
I have a kit on my Lightning 🌩
Been thinking of going with the same kit as you based on wanting a decent ride quality. I got to ask, why is your rear so much higher than the front? Maybe its in shadow in your video, just looks a lot higher.
When I got it installed, I was coming out of town to pick up the truck. I got to the shop at 9pm and they were finishing up the truck, they told me to bring it back anytime to adjust the ride height.
Hope the belltech 2/4 is ok,i ordered that for mine.😂
How did it turn out and what size wheels did you get?
@@Forever.Remain.Nameless Turned out great & looks awesome.I have 20's on right now but plan on some black shelby 22's in the future.
I have eibach loweing kit on my Lightning 🌩
Nice!! I’ve ran their springs before on my car.
How does it ride compared to stock? Just got the Vas 3/5 and it rides rough af. Thinking of upgrading to ridetech or going back to stock and using a drop shackle. These houston roads are ass
It drives very similar to stock. These trucks just don’t ride well overall due to short wheelbase, 2wd doesn’t have enough weight in the back but the Ridetech does its best at compensating
@@aldoshifts8395 Ahh, ok. Thanks for the feedback!
Can I still tow with any of these kits? I plan on owning a ~7,000lb travel trailer and trying to see how much I can lower and still tow...
I towed with the Ridetech kit and their optional tow bags this last weekend. It was about 5500lbs and it did it no problem. You will get trailer sway due to the short wheel base of the regular cab but other than that nothing to worry about.
I own the 4x4 Crew Cab. 5.0L V8 2021@ifts8395
@@aldoshifts8395 I have a 2021 4x4 Crew Cab with a 5.0L V8
What size tire are you running?
255/45/20 and 295/40/20 Nitto Nt555 G2 tires
what headlights are those? dynamic diodes?
They’re OEM Raptor Euro headlights
@@aldoshifts8395 I assume you had to use the wire harness for them? How much was the conversion?
Great review bro I almost went ihc before this video I want the best ride quality possible I would rather pay extra for that smooth ride
You won’t regret it bro, thank you for the comment 🙏
Put a 3/5 ihc kit on mines with upgraded fox shocks about 4 months ago and the riding quality wasn’t bad at first just bumpy at times and now my truck has a squeaky sound not sure if it’s the kit or just something wrong with my truck 😂
Happened to me gotta grease the rear leafspring mounts
@@maximummoto9713can you explain, my truck sounds like a beat up 90s car
Mines too. It's definitely the kit
@@logantic I got long tube headers catless and cords xtreme so no more squeaky noise 😂
Run the stock shackles. The ones that come with the kit are the only flaw
What about just a rear lowering kit? I just want mine leveled lol. 1.5” Ford Performance good?
I think you 2 inch drop shackle for a 2wd and 1.5 if you’re a 4wd to get a perfect level. I would just verify what I just said
