this was one of the most hilarious scenes on the show! 😂🤣David was hilarious in this scene. And the actor who played Ross divorce lawyer was great as well !!
Something about people being baffled and saying "Ross you got married/divorced AGAIN-" whether it be from the lawyer or his mom is just so funny to me lmao
Ross could've avoided a lot of trouble if he just told Rachel that he mis-signed a form or something, and they had to go to the judge for the annulment. She would've believed that and not been as upset.
I've thought this for years. Sitcoms have a lot of situations which could be easily avoided but this one really annoyed me because there were so many ways for Ross to get out of this one that didn't involve him admitting he went nuts and decided to keep them secretly married.
@@DomWeaselsitcoms thrive on simple misunderstandings. It's funny because early friends mocked 'threes company' for being too reliant on misunderstandings to drive the plot. But friends ended up doing the same thing many times, especially in later seasons.
Man, all Ross had to do was tell Rachel that he was misinformed that it was resolved and that they needed to testify in front of a judge. Doubt Rachel would have questioned anything.
"Why don't you tell me what happened?" LOL the way he says it, is brilliant, you can guess this lawyer has been listening to Ross's crazy stories for quiet a while. Ross is keep returning and I can imagine the lawyer goes: "Ookay, Ross, tell me what happened this time?😂😂

First, the bride places a wreath on the groom's head, then he drinks from her cup. The marriage ceremony of the Triumph settlers. You, Ross Geller, are a newlywed.
I’ve always thought: after this meeting with the lawyer, why didn’t Ross go to Rachel and say “there’s just a few more steps to complete it than I thought” 😂
What a nice lawyer. He could’ve shut his mouth and let Ross keep getting married and divorced just to get his money but he was nice enough to tell him to go to therapy.
TBH, every friend needed a therapist. Monica on her cleaning control freak ways. Joey and his sleeping with women. Rachel on her need to be right. Chandler and his insecurities from his parents divorce and dad's gender swap. Then Phoebe and how she's just Phoebe 😂
Ross could have told Rachel the truth but that wouldn’t be as funny as the dialogue with this attorney. This is a TV show also and the writers had to continue to be creative in order to keep the show on the air for 10 years and STILL be FUNNY.
I totally agree when the attorney asking Ross on considering therapy on his marriage fiascos. The thing is Ross is a complete mess after his first divorce from Carol, which technically not Ross’s fault. Still, the trauma and pain are already manifested in Ross’s mind and when he dated Rachel, he wanted a secured serious relationship just so to make up for his pain of losing Carol. This resulted in him being possessive and territorial towards Rachel, and Rachel’s negligence of Ross’s insecurities didn’t help either, which eventually ending their relationship. When he dated Emily, the same cycle repeated again, only this time he quickly proposed to Emily after only dating her for 72 days for the same reason; to cover up his unresolved feelings from his previous relationship. This rendered Emily irreparable after he said Rachel’s name at the wedding altar. In my opinion, the main factor of Ross’s predicament is his parents’s pressure in considering him as the golden child in the family. Come to think of it; they looked up to him more than Monica and Ross did opened up to Sandy on his struggles with his dad on being the main person of the family.
If you look at the attorney's mustache in 1:25-1:27, ... it looks really weird, very creepy. ... Actually, his whole head is jerking, and that's just bananas.
I always find this funny. Ross could have just told Rachel that it turns out his lawyer was wrong and it not yet done and they still need to appear in front of the court without telling her about the lie in the first place. But no... Ross and his antics just have to drag it on making everything even more complicated.
Ron Glass, so economic, he does next to nothing and we already know and trust him. And a wonderful career, sadly passing away 7 years back, but definitely alive still. here. He looks as if he did this with 2 minutes of rehearsal, but he's worked out very line, and however many times this is watched it's hard to think of a more clever (but actually quite complicated) take on his every line. J.
“Never have I had so much business from one client.” One of my fav scenes! 😂😂😂
Why don't you tell me what happened 😊
The "Why don't you tell me what happened," is pure gold. He delivered that line perfectly! 🤣🤣
Like a disappointed parent haha. So funny. :)
Like hes talking to a child 😂😂😂
"Of course you did".. perfectly done, Mr. Glass.
There should have been more scenes with this attorney 😂
So you wanted more Divorces for Ross 😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
I agree, I thought this actor did a great job & I found his lines funny
Go watch Lakeview Terrace😁
Oh, the attorney is just the best! 👏🥰
He was a great regular character on the classic cop show ‘Barney Miller’.
Even his own lawyer thought he needed therapy 😂
When a lawyer tries to talk you out of giving him more money, you know you're f'd up.
First marriage: wife’s hidden sexuality. Not my fault!
Second marriage: Said the wrong name at the altar…a little bit my fault.
Third marriage: Well, they really shouldn’t let you get married when you’re drunk and got writing all over your face. Nevada’s fault!
God, I love David Schwimmer! 😂😂😂
I have to agree with Ross on this one 😂
“A little bit” cause of Rachel’s interference in London?
Nothing's ever Ross' fault, apparently.
The second marriage was completely his fault. But the first and third were not his fault.
@@candycoatedoom You think it is?
Every single sentence by this attorney is a one-liner! This writing and acting alone deserved award nominations.

Ross the Divorce Force 😂😂😂😂😂
Ron Glass stole the show in just one scene he was such a great actor.
Yeah he was... He shoudl've had a bigger carreer imho, i loved him in Firefly 😢
He was great in Barney Miller.
Ron Glass, perfection as always. And David brilliantly offering him all the ammo to milk this short scene for all it was worth.
Man, all Ross had to do was tell Rachel that he was misinformed that it was resolved and that they needed to testify in front of a judge. Doubt Rachel would have questioned anything.
Another scene in which David's acting skills are superb!
You got married...Again
“You got married *again*?”😂😂😂
Rest in Peace and Power, Ron. We love you.
Ross has been married 3 times yet I can’t find 1 girlfriend 😂
😂🤣
But you’re not a paleontologist.
To recreate a scene regarding Ross' relationships with women:

Love the scene between Ross and his attorney. The attorney is just the best. Great scene. 💬🥰❤️
The actor who played the lawyer delivered his lines perfectly, it's a crime he was only in one scene
He was also in another scene where Rachel picks up the phone in Ross's apartment and discovers that she and Ross is still married.

Ron Glass the actor played Ross's Divorce Attorney here passed away in 2016
Trust me. Most divorce lawyers have plenty of clients on three or more divorces.
This divorce attorney then found his true calling as a preacher, joining a motley crew on a dusty ol' spaceship out in the 'Verse.
This Attorney needs his own Spin off Series 😂
Ron Glass has sadly passed away. 💔

Ross knows a lot about dinosaurs.
Ross is going to burn in a special level of hell for his numerous marriages 😂
Ross Geller has a good taste in women over all in the series. Every girl he dates is fine as heck.
He's like a naughty kid here 😊
So Ross's attorney has never had any celebrity clients then.
And yet only one of those marriages (Emily) and thus divorce was his fault.
He was cheated on the first time and Rachel suggested it the 3rd time
If he hadn't got so drunk in the first place his marriage to Rachel wouldn't have happened. Carol was the only divorce he was innocent in.
