Anyone who's fravorite Btvs character ISN'T Spike is just plain crazy (not the good kind of crazy either) Spike is so Brilliantly Awsome that people have to buy thesauruses just to describe him. He's not just the best Btvs character but one of the best character in anything ever.
I know Angel was the dark brooding character - but that can only be hot for a while before it gets boring - Spike totally has my heart - a little bit of everything and he was good but not gushy and he was just alover the place - you never knew what he was gonna do! LOVE SPIKE

I think it's funny Spike was once known as William the Bloody because of his bad poetry instead of the trail of bodies of victims he killed. Perfect song for Spike the best character on Buffy and Angel.
Spike, Angel and Cordelia are my 3 favorite Buffyverse characters and honestly the best characters because they had the most development and the best storylines

James still could be. Mettcaff played the Master, Good ol fruit punch mouth, he was an elder Vampyre. But James is a straight up doll, he could still play Spike, even today. If only his Con contacts would stick they're necks out, for him, & let him know it. He's so humble, & self conscious. But too amazing, to let ageist BS end the dream to play Spike again. Makes ya sad. Joss was all for it, James is the one to convince. I can hear his impish ageless giggle now. No, unless the computers can make me look like I did back when I played Spike, I don't see it happening... Awe, but James, you can't see it like that. You made Spike, you & Joss, best damn character ever, he is still a real person, to so many. & You can't just allow him to fade away... Plus, if Sarah doesn't agree, maybe the lovely Elliza D could be Spike's partner, like Joss had planned on making a Spin off with those two.
