Just look up the story or something so you aren't lost and move on. BUt levels were entirely redone, new story and cut scenes, it's a basically a fan made complete remake.

It’s commendable how much effort went into this mod, but there are three problems with it; 1. Infinite never had the real Phantom Ruby. 2. After the events of the original game, the Ruby disappeared to Classic Sonic’s world. This is when Sonic Mania Encore takes place. 3. Only the Phantom Ruby prototypes needed a power source. The real Ruby doesn’t.

I've waited so long for this. Sonic Forces was the game that got me into Sonic (unfortunate, I know), and this mod is the thing that got me into Sonic fan-games and mods in the first place. Five years of effort paid off for this mod, can't wait to play it tomorrow!

I feel like, similar to 06, sonic forces *could’ve* been a good game, and was a really good concept for sure! Being a war where eggman *actually* wins is actually really a huge thing. I feel like if instead of freeing sonic so quickly (aka making the game longer) and having you play some parts NOT as your “OC” but as Knuckles, or Amy or other characters leading the resistance, (also brush up on the slippery controls) it would’ve been a top tier game.

I have been waiting literal years for this, you have no idea. Honestly I’ve been more hyped for this mod than I have been for a lot of actual games, Sonic games included in that. I can’t wait to play this later since I don’t have the time to do so right now. I’m going to try to avoid as many spoilers as possible and enjoy this experience blind, well mostly anyway since the demos have given me a taste for what the full mod will entail. Congratulations to the Overclocked Team and all of your hard work, it’s been years in the making, but you finally did it! It’s done, and now you can enjoy seeing the fruits of your labor enjoyed by everyone who has been waiting. It’s always nice when a fan project gets fully completed, and even more so when it’s one with this scope, it’s literally a completely new game, a whole overhaul to the Forces experience which changes the game entirely. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, Forces is no longer anywhere near as terrible as it once was. Entirely because if it wasn’t for Forces, Overclocked wouldn’t exist, for that it will forever have my gratitude. I plan on coming back here in the future once I complete it to leave a review, if I can remember anyway. I’m certain this will be an unforgettable experience I can’t wait to have. I knew Sonic Forces was missing something. Imagine we got another DLC after Shadow's side story. It's not a bad game but this is what it really needed the most. I love that Metal Sonic is coming back to potentially become the game's boss since he never was in the original game.

Probably not for the same reason they don't in the main game. You'd have to have a lot of voice actors all playing that one character for the sake of your customization staying intact.

Just finished watching a walkthrough of this and I have to say that this team did a BANGER job. This is what Forces should've been, it had potential and failed but you lot made me see why I enjoyed Forces with this unique spin
