In attendance was head coach Roy Williamson of UNC-Chapel Hill. Spartanburg Day advances to Thursday's semi-final game against the winner of Trinity-Brynes/Palmetto Christian.

They play in SCISA 2A "South Carolina Independent School Association", which is a group of independent smaller private schools that play against each other for a state championship not affiliated with public schools, that is why you see the lack of competition in the teams he is playing.
