this is REALLY GOOD! and surprisingly educational considering ur using jwe2 as a base. of course, its unlikely that tyrannosaurs could roar like how the Jurassic World films depict them, but thats not really something u could do much about. very well done! we will watch ur career with great interest
@@thefarlander2050 because dakotaraptor might not even have existed, because the person who has its skeleton only lets very few people see it, so we don't know for sure if it even was a dinosaur it might have even been a turtle, who knows

If I do recall, I guess it's a small nitpick, but I believe it was recently clarified that the discoverer of Dakotaraptor was not in fact, privatizing his discovery, and is a bit of a false rhetoric that's been recently spreading around.
@@SamuRhino2023 There's no real debate honestly, you can't too much debate about something the discoverer don't want you to see, considering his suspect attitute toward the specimen, his past and that some part of the specimen have been confirmed being from a turtle, it is best to assume Dakotaraptor is fully made up for fame only. IMO.
A post on Reddit from a couple months ago said that the “discoverer” of dakotaraptor is holding the remains private and technically stole the research from someone else to. Sounds like the guy is a real piece of work in a abad way
Excellent. Just a couple things. There have been no Sauropods found in the Lance/Hell Creek Formations, but they are present at the same time in southwestern North America. And Quetzalcoatlus was not the 'pinnacle of avian evolution', because it was not an avian. I think you meant a pinnacle in the evolution of flying animals.
Even then, that's kind of misleading, it feeds into this idea that evolution is a ladder with "more evolved" and "less evolved" populations... last time people widely thought that was also the time we put people in zoos 😬
@@NeilDegrasseTysonWithAKatana Yes indeed. Many of the species around 66 million years ago would likely still have direct descendents living today, but a space rock fell down, and reset the sweepstakes.
This was excellent, instant like & sub for you, I’d like to see a part 2 video for Hell Creek where this time you’d highlight Triceratops, Ankylosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Alamosaurus, Thescelosaurus using a feathered Dryosaurus mod as a stand-in if such a mod exists yet & a speculative Laramidian Maastrichtian Therizinosaurid using Therizinosaurus as a stand-in. Also at 1:18 is that meant to be Deinosuchus? Just out of curiosity.
@@ProperPrehistoric I figured there was a chance it’d be Borealosuchus to make it more accurate, but I wasn’t sure at first because they looked too big to be Borealosuchus so I assumed they had to be Deinosuchus.
@@jackbellanger8403While Therizinosaurus wasn’t a part of Hell Creek, there is evidence that exists to suggest a different species of Therizinosaurid was present on Laramidia during the Maastrichtian, there’s just not enough material to determine a valid genus as of yet which is why it’s not very well known, but none within Hell Creek itself as of yet, but in some neighboring formations that would’ve been more inland during the Maastrichtian is where the evidence for Therizinosaurids have been found, and we know that Hell Creek was pretty so close to the Western Interior Seaway, so it seems that just like Alamosaurus, this undiscovered Therizinosaurid would’ve preferred more inland habitats which is why we haven’t found any within Hell Creek, this could also be why fossil remains for Ankylosaurus & Dakotaraptor are so uncommon within Hell Creek as well because they would’ve also preferred more inland habitats. So with the evidence that exists I think it’s enough for Therizinosaurus to warrant an appearance for part 2, plus it would stand out from other Hell Creek videos on UA-cam because they pretty much never show Therizinosaurids despite the evidence that they were a part of Laramidia at the time.
