I survived a suicide, to be fair I felt really sad and defeated when I did it, I felt as if the warrior inside of me was angry, because I hadn't kept figthing on. Anyone who is reading this, remember this: "Fight even if you don't know what you are fighting for, fight just because you can and have the ability to do so, you will find the reason at one point."

Such a tragic Hero. DS really does have some memorable characters, but Artorias is a cut above the rest. As the saying goes, "battle not with monsters, lest you become one yourself." . Perfectly sums up his character. ❤️🤘
@@dragon_turtle Artorias sucks, he didn't accomplish anything. He failed at fighting the Darkwraiths and New Londo was flooded. He failed even worse in Oolacile, left broken and defeated by Manus and leaving us to clean up the mess, only to have our own success associated with his legend. Artorias didn't know anything about war, tactics, or especially leadership. He was a decent swordfighter with cool armor and a dog. Basically a duelist who foolheartedly threw himself into the pits of dark hell with his fucking dog, in an effort to destroy the Abyss. He accomplished nothing, and should have been remembered as a loser.

As I listen to this for the first time on July 4th weekend 2019 , despite the imagery, it evokes memories from the book Horse Soldiers. Thank you to all of the members of our military forces who have served "so far away from home"!
To expound on my original comment, the book "Horse Soldiers" is about the initial 12 special forces soldiers that were inserted into Afghanistan after the towers fell and fought alongside the Northern Alliance against the Taliban. Great story, great book.
And to add to Ur little knowledge of those military of yours Ur Talkin bout, those people were sent there in those wastelands just coz some very few high ranking people ordered them and told them killing other people is for their country but this song points out the real madness in the battlefield....
