Nick Saban created a hundred million$ empire off the backs of his players who used to work for free. He is in no position to talk about someone else earnings
You can't be naive enough to believe that Saban wasn't giving "incentives" to players. I'm so tired of this crap about people saying these franchises made millions off the backs of free labor. All schools have been riding that line in the gray area. Whether you like it or not, Saban was right, it is absolutely going to be pay for play. I personally don't have a problem with NIL if handled properly and regulated; however, I don't think schools should be shelling out millions for players. That's what sponsors are for. Think of how many scholarships could be given out to good students who don't have the money otherwise. You will never convince me that a school should put that kind of money into individual students.
@@knothyselfknotruththe problem with schools starting to directly pay is there are only a handful of schools that can compete in an arms race. Just wait till it’s just Texas, Texas A&M, Stanford, Northwestern, USC, and Notre Dame that are the only schools that have a shot. I’m good with players making money, but regulation is needed.
@user-tz2zz5ij1s are u crazy ?? Do u NOT know how much even lowest power5 school brings in annually do to its football merch/advertising/ sponsors/ TV deals??
As a Michigan fan, I don't understand this BS. He doesn't even want to go to Michigan. But all Michigan youtubers have a hard on for him. Can't even watch any of them anymore. Hope Underwood goes to LSU and has a good career. Moss to Michigan and I would be happy.
David the apologist! The athletic Director that covers up the violations of the men's hockey program, men's basketball program and the football program. The entire athletic department at Michigan is a train wreck. NCAA violations looming, Michigan's football program may not be relevant for the next four or five years.
Graham Harrell and Case Keenum would be so loaded if they had the transfer portal. Players that were worth 3 million a year last 30 years in my opinion: Ricky Williams Reggie Bush Matt Leinart Ed Reed Peyton Manning Cam Newton Tim Tebow Pat White Vince Young Minkah Fitzpatrick Derrick Henry Christian Mccafrey Brock Bowers Tommy Frazier Lavar Arrington Julio Jones Cadillac Williams Ezekiel Elliott Willis Mcgahee Jadaveon Clowney Percy Harvin
Just for fun, who do you think would get in if Norte Dane loses, both byu and smu win out and get the automatics, then would Colorado as a championship loser get in or Miami as a championship loser. Both hot brands right now with very popular quarterbacks, they are almost the same team lol just curious!
That report is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous😂😂. Only half a dozen kids in all of college football are making six figures lol now we talking 8 figures this is Nonsense reporting whoever threw that bogus number out there
Are you dense? You just said only 6 kids are making six figures…. FSU is 1-9 and a third of the roster is making six figures. The hurt QB is making 800k…. And again they’re 1-9. Imagine what Texas is paying. Alabama. Georgia. Etc. Second stringers are making over six figures. Starters are making millions.
@@Battlegnome112I forget his name but the UNLV WR is making 100,000. I believe the new USC QB who was at UNLV is around 50,000. Half a dozen at 500,000 is probably more realistic.
Nick Saban warned everybody that this was going to be pay for play and all y’all said he was just crying

This is professional football 🏈
College football is losing fans. Not gaining them.
Eventually CFB will need the investment from the NFL to keep the music playing.
Schools need to be allowed to fire head coaches for lack of performance as well.

How does this make the current Michigan Roster feel? Man...
Honestly, I don't think the QB room should feel too good anyway.
Graham Harrell and Case Keenum would be so loaded if they had the transfer portal.

The sports world is insane. Started 4 1/2 years ago.

Herschel Walker was worth that kinda money Theres only maybe five or six ever I can think of.
NO ONE is worth that kind of money.

Bryce wants to be like Burrow & Daniels, not McCarthy & Cone…
That is the way free agency works. Deal with it. Can’t wait for the 20 million dollar man.
Easy Auburn man. Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t be throwing stones.
