- Candlelight processional from the American Gardens Theater in EPCOT. Filmed December 15th, 2004. Narrated by Eartha Kitt (January 17, 1927 - December 25, 2008).
The Candlelight Processional is an annual event held during Christmas at Epcot. A 50-piece live orchestra joined by a mass choir and celebrity narrator retell the story of Christmas in words and music. Originally held at the Magic Kingdom (first in front of Cinderella Castle, then moved to the front of the train station), it was moved to EPCOT in 1994 and has occurred every Christmas season since then.

Brings back fond memories of the holiday in Florida I had with my mum. She’s now almost 97 and has Alzheimers. Epcot was a magical place for her - she loved this performance and the nightly firework displays.
I’m so happy this is here. I was one of the high school singers that year. Not this group, but still seeing this brings back so many good memories from my choir days. Can’t believe it’s been almost 20 years. Thanks for posting!

I just watched the Candlelight Procession at EPCOT a couple days ago, so how fun to see it almost 20 years ago! New subscriber here, I love vintage Disney theme parks footage!

I was surprised to find out that they moved this to EPCOT in 1994. 😮 We always traveled during the spring growing up so I never knew about it.
