Some of the best non-veg foods are red meat, chicken, ehggs and fish. I feed my two gsds red meat mostly and they're super healthy. BTW, I have one working line gsd and the other being a showline. Also, organ meat like heart, tripe etc are extremely effective for dogs.
I have 15 month gsd male. What he eats: morning after 1 to 2 hr excercise, a homemade treat with chicken liver, heart, geyser mixed with pumpkin puree, a little olive oil of appx 30 gms; at 9 am - two fistful of white rice with boiled veges and 150gms of katla fish, at 4pm raw chicken or paneer of appx 100 gms with dog food of appx 150 gms (presently canine creek), at 9 pm two fistful of oats with 300 gm of chicken soup. For calcium i give shelcal-m daily once, and coat suppliment - nutricoat 10ml twice daily. Vaccination and deworming up-to-date always. Daily brushing and monthly once coconut oil + apple Cider vinegar message followed by shampoo bath, and if required in between dry bath with himalaya freshcoat. I use olive oil as ear drops. Also i use vaseline for paw message everynight. For gut health i use enterogermina twice daily for 5 days once in a quarter. For dental hygiene and fresh breath i use trixie dental water with his drinking water daily once in the morning. I ensure he drinks liquid as soup or water. For tick, once a year bravecto. Full day we are with him and he sleeps on our bed beside me. Though he has his lounger bed. He does not eat any fruit except cucumber, he is picky eater. Will not touch dahi or eggwhite. Even refuses chicken sometime. So i prepare his food with care and in moderation. Till to date he is fit and fine.

Why should a dog eat vegetarian food? Your religion shouldn't be imposed on an animal; it has no religion. Dogs are meant to eat meat. I strongly disagree with feeding them vegetarian good only. If you're a vegetarian then you shouldn't get a dog. That's it. 😂
