His party PVV is not ideologically far-right. It's actually a liberal-right party. They are not conservatives like traditional conservative politicians in other Western countries. PVV supports freedom, gender equality and homosexuality unlike other right wingers from rest of the West.
But you gotta ask the question he wants to save Netherlands at the expense of what? By trying to degrade and demonize another race of people. That is not the way to go my friend?

how is calling him anti-Islam an attack if he's anti-Islam? Like, if you agree with him about the damages of Islam in Netherlands, then why would you see that as an attack?
He is anti-islam though. He wants to ban the koran, close mosques and even made a an anti-islam documentary. Most just think he's the only one who will stop migration, so his opinions on islam haven't been relevant the entire election.

Yeah, Poland just messed up... We have very strange coallition against previous government and the new one is pro-EU (at least most of coallition which is really pro EU, although it's not super-solid). Unfortunately we have only one, but still 1 party which voted yesterday in European Parlament for change in european tracts and is a part of coallition. What's "funny" is that this party came from transformation of coummunist party back in the day so it makes perfect sense.
If they were smart then they would have done this decades ago - years of left-wing governments have destroyed Europe and it may be too late to salvage.

The ordinary Dutch people, probably the most tolerant and liberal on the planet have had enough of all this madness. It looks like goodbye open borders, thank God and back to sanity. I suspect the French, Belgians, Swedes, Italians, Danish etc. will take a similar line to the Dutch in upcoming elections.
There’s been a failure to integrate Eastern Europeans and Muslims. Until they can’t integrate and provide resources for the existing immigrants, it makes no sense to let anyone and everyone come.
They can’t play the Hero and Saviour for all, all of the time. Sometimes, you have to step back and deal with recurring problems rather than creating new ones.
Also, the economy plays a big role in this. After covid, Ukraine and Gaza, the economy has taken a hit. There’s a cost of living crisis which makes people feel insecure. Naturally, they don’t want to share their resources, which are already scarce, with new immigrants irrespective of religion or race.

Immigration policies. Mass Migration had taken a hold of most European countries. The Hollanders people have spoken and they have chosen a leader who will put their people and country first. I hope this will cause a rippling effect through Europe in Oder to protect and preserve its people, Heritage and Culture.
