Lets be honest everyone got scared at the man bat part
Spartan Sean Hell yes I did! I never felt like more of a Bitch in my life.
lol my little sister was watching me play at that part and we both got scared.
I wasnt scared just suprizef
Kinda but my cousin yelling next to me scared me more
I played on pc so it looked more terrible then scary :/
*BE THE BATMAN*
Who was I for the last three games ?
Nick Blaster the bad man
His fuqqin sidekick!
Actually, you were *Bayymayyn* this whole time LOL.
In this game, I was more of the Batmobile than I was the Batman.

The best twist ever would’ve been if Arkham knight was alfred
i would have laughed so fucking much
Duel Masters same!!!
"Will you go and cry now you stupid boy?"
but it was red hood, hilariously lampshaded by the joker (in his head)
@@haruhisuzumiya6650 Literally Red Hood the same story, he even had the Red Hood mask under his helmet, why not make a new character or a new arc for Jason at least?
Who's here after the suicide squad review?
Me
Me!
Arkham Asylum: we want the batmobile!
Arkham City: where's the batmobile at??
Arkham Origins: they better add the batmobile...
Arkham Knight: why is there so much stuff with the batmobile in this game?!?!
The logic of people lol. I loved the Batmobile and the entire game
Robin Spiers Thank you gamers can't be happy
Robin Spiers It wasn't done right that's the problem.
Robin Spiers randy3602 what a silly argument. just cause we wanted the batmobile before means we have to be satisfied with what we actually got? Yes, we all wanted it, but what we actually got was not that fun and it overstayed it's welcome. If it was awesome people would be singing it's praises. It's like saying to your kid "You asked for a game to play all year long so I got you a Ball In A Cup, even though you expected a more modern game."
Robin Spiers If I ask for a cup of coffee from a waiter one too many times, and he comes and dumps a whole pot into a cup, making it overflow and spill all over the table, he obviously didn't know when enough is enough.
Enough was enough after the third sequence.
If they ever do Batman again, I'd love to see Batman Byond as a game.
There is a batman beyond game lol. It's a bit old but still good
Jude McDaniel Didn't know that. But a Beyond game playing like Arkham did? I'd buy that shit in a heartbeat.
Yeah, it plays differently to how the newer batman trilogy does. There's no detective vision, or seemless jumping around combat, and no open world. But imo its better then asylum and arkham knight. I really liked origins though.
***** HELL YEAH!!!
What do you call a magic owl? Find out 2016!
Joltimus22 hoodini.
The batmobile fires concussion rounds. They're made of rubber and they're actually used by riot control
They won't kill you, they'll just probably break some ribs and leave some permanent head trauma.
+M. Chedderbeef So nothing different from how Batman usually deals with people.
EchoWolf31 Exactly.
rubber bullets, I swear...
+Jack JMP (JPauly) Bullet's? Is that seriously how you think it's spelled?
The last WB game without insane amounts of microtransactions...
They have to pay off the bat tank some how
Yep...
what you mean what games does have microtransactions middle earth shadow of war cause the microtransactions are completly gone
@@Iamgonnabethere But there were there at release and the game was balanced around it.
Hitman 2?
The biggest gripe I have with this game is that there are no boss battles. Every other game had great boss battles, but then they just took them out. The Deathstroke boss battle in Origins was amazing and then you just defeat him in one punch after a tank battle. Come on man.
That's how far Batman has come in terms of skill development LOLOLOL! :D
I freaking hated the Deathstroke battle when I first played. I literally restarted the game and got more health upgrades just to beat it
There are a few boss battles like the fight with Albert King which was a bitch. Admittely the fight with the Arkham Night was pretty crappy, but it was still challenging.
Jake Mitchell *cough* Riddler *cough*
The only fight that got me once or twice was the professor pig since the dollatrons had to be defeat in a special takedown.
Generally, I really do love AngryJoes reviews. The guy is as honest as anyone can get and that's extremely rare.
And while this may seem bias because my channel is based upon this game, but at least half of this review is not the normal AngryJoe honest review. A lot of what seems to be his disliking towards the game comes from the bad taste the PC port left in his mouth. Now I would totally understand where he's coming from had he gotten the PC port like a majority of people and found out himself about the performance issues. However, watching his PC video you can clearly notice he was well aware the PC port had many issues, as well as the game being pulled from Steam. But I digress.
A lot of the review is filled with errors. He thought Joker was a figment of the Fear Toxin, when the game literally spells it out to you (almost as clearly as it does the Arkham Knights identity) that the Joker is there as a side effect to Batman having the Jokers blood in him during Arkham City. There wasn't as much effort put into research on the game in this video than there was done on the skits and such. For instance, he mentions the Freeze Grenade is in the GCPD, when it's located in Panessa Studios. He also takes the films as source material to Batman killing people, which is just kind of dumb.
Overall, his complaints about the Batmobile are completely justified and I agree 100% with his score for the PC port, however, I think his experience with the PC port, and having to start all over on console, left him in a bit too much distaste about the game as whole.
Sorry I've written an essay, but a lot of people have been tweeting me about what I thought about the review. I'll also mention that this is personally my opinion and I won't let this review cause me to unsub or name-call. I also hope we can all be civil about this, not here to start any arguments.
Yeah Caboose. Whatever we want to rate the game is up to us, and we can't let anyone else decide our rating, when it's our idea in the first place. I usually don't watch his videos, but anyway, your rating is up to you. It's your experience overall. And of course, my opinion on this game is a little clouded because I haven't played it yet, haha. Maybe in the future. But I still think this is a pretty great game.
CabooseXBL His complaints about overused batmobile and predictable arkham knight identity and no boss battles have nothing to do with how bad the pc port was. There are other things like the main villain never being around, and the fucken annoying riddler race tracks also did i mention no boss battles! There are to many errors to justify it as a good batman game in my opinion but i agree joe scored it too low. I think its a 7 out of 10.
So your saying "THE GAME IS GUD ON CONSOLE XDDDDD GET A CONSOLE IT IS OK IF A GAME DOESNT WORK" the bat mobile sucks shit if i wanted that gameplay I would play unreal tournament
Joe knows what he's talking about
***** I don't really watch his videos, not a fan of him personally.
Lol. And people bitched when gamespot gave this a 7.
I hate how they bitched without even playing the damn game.
Angry joe is more credible. Gamespot's review was just utter shit
I think that a 7 is fair, I would give it an 8 because, once I got used to the Batmoblie, I thought the drone segments where a good break from the other combat segments. Also the atmosphere really sold me on the game, the Joker parts where just excellent. For me I thought that this game was really a good intro to what we can expect from this generation of consoles as they mature and hopefully we wont see any further PC port issues.
***** *you're? Correcting grammar in a UA-cam comment section....your parents must be so proud.

It's cool how they implemented the reason for this in the Arkham Knight prequel, "Arkham VR." Go see what's up. ;)

6/10? Complete bullshit. I'm fairly certain your PC experience ruined it for you. It is an 8/10, at LEAST, and that's if you're picky.
I totaly agree
That's what he said in the review (that the PC port mainly ruined his experience with the game).
This game sucks, cash grab and etc
John Kennedy Screw him for having a different opinion eh?
i'm talking about it's really not a complete game with rocksteady having all this dlc in the future that could've already been in the game and lets be honest the game lacks a lot of features from it's past games
watch dogs: 7/10
batman arkham knight: 6/10
is this game THAT bad?
Gaming guy Watch dogs was not shit
Batman was not gold...
Jordan Jolivette Yea, at certain parts I expected better content, the Arkham Knight had no personality to him, it was always "Fuck you batman, Im going to kill you" and scarecrows constant "Tonight you learn true fear, Batman" .
Gaming guy no its accually really good he's just not a fan of the bat tank which i agree with, but he REALLY didn't like it
TheSutton
The Batmobile was the only viable option gameplay wise that they could have explored, they probably went about it with the intent of not making the same game 3 times over. I personally enjoyed the segments, but would agree that too far a majority of the game is spent in it or missions that require it.
XxStonedKillerxX I enjoyed the game as a whole and even bought the season pass i just don't like all the Bat tanking

Happy Batman That made the game for me
I know I'm late to the party but I got this game on sale for $9 and am playing it for the first time. I'm about halfway through the game and so far, I'm loving it. It's a 8.5/10 for me so far. I only have issues with the overuse of the batmobile but other than that, this game is great.
I started 3 days ago and i find it a good game.. at least 7.5
Take that back. A 8 at least
Im thinking of getting all 3 games for $14 total on PS store. I never played them. Seems worth the try. It has to be worth at least $6.99??
@@StoneCold-Stutter they are freaking awsome. Im not into batman myself , but because of these games im kinda. Watched the dark knight movies too.
@@ipainthouses3084 yeah I liked that movie and the Michael Keton Batman movies. What the hell. Give it a try . I loved Spider-Man game. 7$ is worth the try and hope the game is worth at least that much
Personally. I agree on some things. Such as boss battles and the batmobile's overuse. The worse boss being.... Sadly.... Deathstroke. As it is another fucking tank battle! And then you immediately KO him in cutscene once he leaves the damn tank!!!! Seriously, they could have done deathstroke so much better!!!!
Plus, I give an entire point to them because of Joker. He was so amazing, even at the end. For the first time ever, I felt sorry for Joker to the point that the feels hits me even harder than the death of any robin ever could. So I give the game a 8/10
chris kennedy eh I give it a 8.5
chris kennedy they should have just not had deathstroke at all considering how much they screwed up with him
chris kennedy I agree on the boss battles and especially Deathstroke, but I don't think the Batmobile was overused, it's just that the hand to hand combat was underused. There was just enough Batmobile to keep me entertained, but not enough hand to hand combat(it's not an overuse is what I'm trying to say). I would still give the game a 9/10 with a BADASS SEAL OF APPROVAL.
Agreed. His battle from Arkham Origins was definitely more satisfying (Even though it's a copy of Ras Al Gul from Arkham City). They should have copied the Arkham Origins boss and pasted it to Arkham Knight and should have made him harder. Would have been better than another f*cking tank battle.
I beat this game 3 times, every time I got scared with that man-bat part.

STOP PREORDERING GAMES!!! Unless it's a collectors edition, or a game you know you'll enjoy regardless of how mediocre it is, don't preorder games! And if you can take it one step further, wait for reviews. This will ensure you don't purchase shitty games and developers will be more inclined to release better games!
KineticGTR It is particularly bad when you have games like the new Battlefront and people started preording the deluxe edition before we got any gameplay whatsoever.
reviews starting coming out 3 days before the game came out
KineticGTR the only game I preorder literally the only one is fallout 4 my inner fan boy just had to get the pipboy and metal case that came with it
KineticGTR As an ex games retailer myself, I have to agree with you there my friend. Pre orders from a retail standpoint are essentially money in their pockets. A pre order means a guaranteed return from a customer and the eventual purchase of a brand new release. This of course will then open the opportunity for more pre orders upon pick up along with service add on's such as game guarantees or membership cards.
They do NOT care if you like the game or not. So long as you buy it.
Why do you think developers have put so much stock in their trailers lately? So that pre orders will sky rocket, they know in advance roughly how many sales they'll get and less effort has to go into the game itself.
Let the games stand on their own merits for once and BUY THEM IF THEY'RE GOOD.
KineticGTR "STOP PREORDERING GAMES!!!:" - you should have stopped here.
I usually agree with joe but... 6/10?!?! Like the same score as the shitty EA battlefront??? Dude...
Its a reasonable score. Its not that good compared to the other Arkham games.
@@imulan yes but in comparison to swbfEA, its waaay better, it could of at least scored an 8 or a 7, if this was released before all the other arkham games, it would probably got a 9, im pre sure it got game of the year too
William Yang two different game genres I say 8 out of 10 is generous besides a 7/10 is deserved anything passed is generous i gave it an 8/10 because well the game was ok it would’ve gotten a 10/10 if the side missions did justice to the villains and if the bat mobile wasn’t a fucking tank
But its better than both the battlefront games combined by a mile
@@kakarott545 You can't compare two completely different games from other game genres like that
I think he put more effort in making a review than the devs did to port the game on pc
Yep
Ravi Agrawal I thought it was good i agree too much bat tank, but the game had a good story, and the fighting was fun. Also the DLCs are good so far its about as good ask City. I liked the Boss fights in city, this game lacked in them but the other mechanics were great. 8/10 for me. Granted the PS4 version is the best.
as not ask
LOL
The devs didn't really put any effort in the PC port unfortunately, Rocksteady and WB just hired some cheap small company to port it and we know the rest of the story...
I had the argument about Batman not killing before and someone said "Oh but the Battank shoots rubber bullets at people" Yeah, and the speed at which they get shot in their faces is TOTALLY not lethal...
Yeah, I don't care that they're rubber, those rounds are shattering bones.
Also you can straight up run people over soooooooo... you know.
TheDeralte doesnt he use those same bullets to destroy "metal" drones?
yea because this game and the batman universe are totally realistic
Guts no it will automatically shoot the non lethal ballistics if you aim at thugs
TheDeralte Not only that but when you hit them with the bullets and they become unconcious, you can hit their bodes with the 60 mm canon

You could just imagine flying around Neo-Gotham in the Batmobile, seeing old Bruce Wayne and your family, getting to partake in all the arcades and such as well as beating up the Mutants. It could be amazing but they should give Batman a rest for now.

I honestly love this game. Sure the batmobile was overused and the boss battles weren't as good, but it delivered so much good stuff.
Like what?
Massive seamless world with awesome puzzles and sidequests. New stealth mechanics like fear takedowns. Seamless cutscenes that take full advantage of the engine and console capabilities.
@@TheBoxNasty so what it also wasted the Batmobile and used it way too much!! 😪
Bestmangamer 2 The graphics, after 5 years, are still good, the story is interesting, the side quests are really fun and diverse and always have a satisfying conclusion. If somebody’s first argument is “oh they used the bat mobile too much so it’s bad” then chances are they never played the game. It was overused but in some cases it was pretty useful and wasn’t used only as a means of transport but also with combat and even in some cases puzzle solving too. Not to mention, that ending was very satisfying as an end for a trilogy.
The Batmobile was not over used. Maybe 1/3rd of the game was FORCED Batmobile content.
Everyone says that Joker doesn't make sense in this game but they show Batman seeing Joker after fighting Freeze and there is a phone call where Joker asks himself if the illusions he also sees are from Scarecrow.
@Fwuffycodbunny it does... what is the thing that separates batman from the joker?
@Fwuffycodbunny Cry
@Fwuffycodbunny it was scarecrows fear gas. The cure worked a little bit but it didn't get rid of jokers blood. Scarecrows new toxin mutated the infected blood and made it worse

Redfox Much like Joe I found the intro to be amazing.
I found the rest of the game underwhelming and completely inferior to Arkham City as an overall experience. 6/10 is a fair assessment I'd say.
I'd personally tell someone just to play Asylum and City, and if they already have, then don't bother worrying about Knight. You're not missing anything.
planescaped kind of agree, ill probably buy it later for discounted price, i played it at friends house on console its very underwhelming game, AA and AC were far far better games.

I felt the game was an amazing final entry in the franchise, but it had some major flaws like the overuse of the Batmobile, the writing was not as great as the previous titles, the PC launch is one of the worst PC ports of all time, there are literally few to no boss battles, etc. But the game still delivered a solid 8/10 experience in my book!
even though the tank parts were really repetitive as hell, they had like an addictive arcade type feel to it for me. destroying the drones i felt was really satisfying, and that's what got me to cope with it. anyone else feel like this?

Nerd Alert, but Fun Fact: Batman actually did use guns back in his first few comics in the '40s. I don't know when it was dropped, but yeah.
It was dropped four numbers into the main series, so counting Detective Comics #27, there were just 5 stories in which Batman used guns and they ecompased just one year in the character's history.
Oh, wow. That's a hell of a lot shorter than I was expecting.
Natasha Murray Yup.
Natasha Murray Hasn't Batman always used guns though?
Cody Hines Nope, he has a vow to never use guns.
Does anyone else think a game where you play as Bruce Wayne and Batman would be fun?
I mean…you play as Bruce Wayne, run the company, buy buildings in the city to gain money and then you can use that money to either buy more buildings, go to clubs, buy cars, improve Wayne Enterprises or on gear for Batman.
While at clubs or meetings, make friends with owners of other companies to unlock more types of equipment for Batman.
And to switch, just like they did in Arkham City; just points in the city.
Like elevators, back allies, main one in Wayne Tower or Wayne Manor.
And as Batman, obviously, you fight crime.
But random events happen, like Bruce would have to go a meeting, but there's a villain doing something somewhere else and you can only do one.
If you miss too many of the Bruce Wayne events or spend too much of the company's money without people knowing what it's for, people will start to get suspicious and hiring private detectives to try to follow Bruce.
I think that would be great!
This is brilliant...
+Noah Cataldo There was more, but I ran out of space.
+Coops4tw That would be a crappy iphone game
+Pier Giorgio Marchetti I was thinking of focusing on PC and consoles, but not a shitty port to PC.
Pier Giorgio Marchetti Why?
The first time joker showed up in the game with the, "Miss me?" Line and when he shot me, I immediately thought, "Don't you fucking dare tell me to use the 'middle stick'!"
Fans kept bitching that they wanted to drive around in the Batmobile. However, they didn't think very hard about how the car would be incorporated into a game. It's a car. It's a cool car, sure. But it's a car.
But the fans kept screaming for it, so they got it. Now Rocksteady had to figure out a way to use the Batmobile and this was the best they could come up with.
This is a good example of the fans not really understanding what they want.
Batman gliding around the city was the most awesome part of the game.

Are people actually defending this game?
-No Paul Dini;
-No challenge maps;
-No boss battles;
-Batmobile forced down our throats;
-Silly and downright unsurprising twists;
-"BE THE BATMAN, but first play this mandatory FPS-esque opening with Random Gotham Police Officer #6";
-"Play as Harley Quinn, Red Hood and Batgirl...for 20 minutes, since we got rid of challenge maps, LOL";
-Forget how scary Scarecrow was in Arkham Asylum, now he's a boring and monotone b-movie villain voiced by John Noble.
-"Want to get the full ending? Please, collect all shitty Ridler Trophies to get full completion."
And there's the whole PC port debacle. This game was for the Arkham Series what TDKR was for the Nolan movies: a major disappointment. Fuck you, Rocksteady.

p.s. the only person i see here liking his own comment is you ;)
This score was definitely an exaggeration by Joe's rage because of the PC port's issues. The PS4 version that I played deserves no less than a 9.
lRedBaronl Totally agree with you. I rarely make posts in disagreement with someone's review score, but AK was such a high quality game that seeing a 6 feels like a slap in the face to the developers who created an amazing game. Of course it's not perfect but deserves far better than it got.
Shodan Cat Exactly my thoughts. Even though the game had issues on PC, he did give it a score for consoles, and it was a completely unfair score, considering the amount of quality work that was put into this game.
lRedBaronl I can't speak for this game, as I haven't played it, but I have played many games that were highly praised and felt dissatisfied, and likewise have played games that were panned and really enjoyed them. Let me give you an example. I have played Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind's release. I was extremely excited to play Skyrim, and even pre-ordered it (which I don't typically do). I've played through Skyrim many times, and have done most things in the game, but when I look back, I realize that Skyrim leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It undoubtedly has a lot of quality work put into it, and it is certainly a solid game, but to me, it is missing something. There's a spark it lacks, a level of depth that is missing from the game. It's not devoid of it, it just doesn't have enough for it to be a 10/10. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game, it just isn't what I would consider "legendary", as Joe called it.
Basically, what I'm trying to illustrate here is that quality, polished work doesn't exactly equal an amazing rating. For me (and for Joe, based on what I've seen), ratings between 1 and 5 are reserved for games that either don't work mechanically or just miss the mark and aren't fun. Everything between 5 and 10 are varying levels of good, and are highly dependent on the feeling the reviewer got overall (that spark I mentioned before). To be amazing, a game needs to have more than good mechanics and a polished look. The game needs to really (and consistently!) evoke emotions, whether that be fun, a sense of engagement, etc.
Looking at this review from this point of view, I think it is definitely reasonable for Joe to believe this game deserves a 6. He acknowledges that the game is polished, and that the gameplay mechanics are fluid and effective. This tells us that this game is at least a 5 from Joe. He also mentions that the combat, while extreme, was fun, and that he enjoyed using the gadgets, and reconstructing crime scenes. We are also told that Joe was dissatisfied with the Arkham Knight, the overuse of the batmobile, and generally wished there was more of everything (more crime scenes, more villains, etc). The final, and most important, bit we get is that after 4 batman games, the experience is running thin for Joe. It just seems a bit like more of the same. If we look at that altogether, we can summarize Joe's experience with the game as this: a solid title with mechanics that are growing a bit stale, that could generally use a bit more content and a better story. Still, some fresh ideas were added that helped enrich the experience, but ultimately weren't enough to make this feel like a new experience.
That sounds like a 6 to me, but feel free to disagree
Jacob Alaimo No disrespect, but if you haven't played the game, you can't judge.
I didn't judge the game, I judged the review (silly, I know). I looked at all things Joe said, all the things I know about the series, and everything else I've seen about Arkham Knight in particular, and I judged Joe's rating. I've concluded based on what I've seen that Joe's review of the game is accurate, and I already broke down how he got the 6
You're not shooting anyone with your cannon, you're actually firing rubber bullets with your gun.
Devan Evans Sure and the criminals that were in the regular cars were protected by magical cushions made my their tooth fairy that protected of every harm and a serious case of death.
TheKeyser94 "Sure and the criminals..."
That's not my sentiment, that's actually the sentiment of the developers. So don't try showing incredulity towards me, try doing towards the people who design the game.
Devan Evans Ya bit these rubber bullets dent steel and blow up cars. There too powerful. The developers could have made it not do those things.
RANDOMASIANGUY1 Have you ever noticed that when you're firing at people, whether they're on foot or in a car, you let out a single round one after the other instead of the rapid fire chain gun? Yeah, those are the rubber bullets. When you're not, you're firing armor piercing chain gun rounds AND titanium tipped rockets. Sorry, not my fault if you didn't pay attention there.
Devan Evans The sound is irrelevant when the car explode into pieces, and crash violently against the buildings.
before playing this game..... i heard about the hate for batmobile.
when i played the first 5 or 6 tank battles i was like woah, the gamers were wrong and being mean.
After 3 horus, i was like ...... PLEASE, no more tank battles.... Please, no more. LET me be a batman again.
edit: a 6/10 ........... OUCH!
I am THE BATMOBILE!
Yeah, agreed, but I think the game is more so 8/10 quality material, its defiantly way better than 6/10!!!
there's not that many tank battles, most tank battles are optional
The drone battles aren't the worst part for me, mine was the use of the batmobile in riddler's trophies, I wanted to see the full ending so bad, but damn, the only guy I didn't catch was the riddler, and after seeing the ending scene, I am glad i didn't put in the time to get the trophies, the ending scene is shit. We already knew he was going to put away the cowl and now we had a scene to confirm it. 7/10.
@@alifadila3364 yeah that really pissed me off, you had to spend dozens of hours tracking down those stupid trophies to get the proper ending, like wtf is that.
getting those trophies should always be OPTIONAL, not necessary to see the plot
If Arkham Knight was the first Arkham game you played then... yes, you will think the game is amazing. If you started from the beginning with Asylum and/or City, you know the game is average. I feel the same way about Origins as well.
To me Arkham City is the best one in the series hands down.
AllmustGo I was really sad that this game had no scarecrow hallucinations like asylum did
No, I started with Arkham city and I’ve played a little bit of Asylum afterwards and still Origins and Knight feel better
I started with asylum, and I still think knight is a very welcome addition to the series, I don't feel it very average at all, mainly gives alot more side quests to do compared to the other 2 games
I still like the originality and story of asylum better. And yeah definetly the scarecrow bits too
I loved Arkham Knight but I gotta agree with u, Arkham City was the best and I feel Origins is up there as well. Rocksteady never dissapointed
Lol at people still defending Arkham knight.
Barely any boss battles, and they are mostly horrible so you can't even really call them boss battles.
Tons of filler content: from overused repetitive batmobile "combat", to collectibles / riddler trophies.
But they still made sure to make a "season" pass for the low low price of 39.99.
Angry joe's rating is perfect, below average for broken pc port and above average for console versions. Because it's not a game one should recommend to their friends/family, instead recommend any of the other batman games.
To be fair, the arkham games aside from Origins (which of course wasn't Rocksteady) have had pretty bad bosses Mr. Freeze being the exception.
SilJeff yea i dont get why people dont like origins that much
The batmobile was so overused it made me hate playing this game
I loved the batmobile but I think its because I love blowing things up.
i don't hate the game but yes the batmobile was overused
I stopped playing it all together
By the time I reached the tank fight I was sick of the Batmobile. Especially after the damn riddler quests with it.
Bunch of whinny children
This game is a 10/10 masterpiece must buy
Probably not a masterpiece because it still lacks some aspects that make arkham games great. One is no good boss fights aside from using only batmobile. It's a great game but not masterpiece bro.
"mUh mAsTeRpieCe muSt bUy" loooool
No. It's not. It's the worst game out of the 4.
It's a good game. Probably my second favorite. The batmobile definitely got old quick.
@@avikellerman4539hell no Arkham City is the most over hyped one in the series
@@avikellerman4539that would be asylum by a lot
The Arkham Knight is basically a remake of an already existing character.
Same personality
Same style
Different costume and name.
***** And worst of all, the game doesn't take advantage of any of it.
It's called a sequel
XHeavyfireX From what I'm hearing the game really doesn't take advantage of any of the villains in this. It's a shame Paul Dini didn't come back for this one.
***** When you get to his real name it's not even different that. It's like they dressed Batman in a yellow suit and called it an 'original character'
Tank207 I think thats what did it. John Noble as Scarecrow was PERFECTION but he was sooo underused...
....It's obvious...
Lemme guess. Arkham Knight is Jason Todd?
Yea

3:30 that isnt a framerate problem! Its just a hidden slow motion mode available for pc only!
Ok Will

PC users are lucky
Their version is so much more cinematic
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
In 2021 with a RTX chip and a consistent high framerate this game is so beautiful. I just replayed it to 100% recently.

At 16:00 Angry Joe predicted Batman v Superman.
my mind is blown
I've seen it.. And it wasn't that good
***** That's why I said Joe predicted it. I have watched the film, and thought Batman was well done since Bruce delivers a line about Good people not staying good. The rest of the movie was below par (the U. Edition didnt make it better).
There's a batman cartoon movie with batman fighting superman way before the live action movie, so not much of a prediction.
The Fuzzy Unibrow to be honest joe version of batman vs superman is much more realistic...
PC version is Batman: Broken knight
LOL
Have you played it lately?
Nope
Vault Boy They thankfully fixed the PC port completely.
+Kal really!?! FINALLY
i actually kind of like the drone fighting.... *gets banished to the fire realm*
SAME MATE HIGH 5 🖐️🖐️🖐️
You're not alone, but I still much rather prefer the classic, traditional style of Batman Arkham series gameplay (freeflow combat and stealth sections) over the tank drone battles, but those are still fun, IMO!
I like it, it’s fun, the problem is there’s too much of it. I wish they balanced it out more with hand to hand combat
I liked it too but it is stressful, why? Because i played on the hardest setting when i first started the game, where it takes 1 to 2 shots to kill you in a tank
Matthew Lugo I played it on nightmare it’s not that hard
Too much Batmobile, it felt way to intrusive and the excellent boss battles from previous games were removed. The deathstroke fight in Origins and the boss fights in City were very well done and we had none of that in this game. Also, I didn't like the ambiguous ending. This is supposed to be a conclusion for the Arkham games and the ending just left me with more questions than answers. Solid game but I wouldn't say it was better than Asylum or City.
***** no he's right would you rather have awesome boss battles like in city and asylum or tank battles vs deathstroke and arkham knight
3/10 IGN "too much batmobile"
Honest Dishonest Maybe we'll see more in the DLC? I 100 percented the game and still didn't feel like it was conclusive. We get some closure with Barbara, Tim, Jim, but we don't know what happens to the other characters we love and played as.
Big Bob I don't understand why people praise the Deathstroke battle. It was repetitive and easy and the most disappointing thing was that the part when Deathstroke jumps towards Batman from the smoke cloud and starts mashing (player needs to spam counter button) with the sword, it was straight recycle from AC's Ra's Al-Ghul battle. Even the animations are identical.
One thing I hated was their over use of big dudes you have to fight. I mean they had two of 'em in Arkham City. The Abramovici Twins, That was cool cuz they were their own characters with a back story and yadda yadda yadda but in Arkham Knight dudes of their size kept showing up everywhere. Minor point perhaps but I really didn't like it.
Yea Great point. Arkham City was so focused. I wish they would have brought Paul Dini Back. I believe he wrote City.
Needs to be another way to take them down, more fluid yet still a challenge.

You should put (PC version) in title , because the game works perfectly on PS4.
He reviewed both versions. Console And PC.
Raymond Felton but he played on PC so he dosent rly know how it was os PS4
He Reviewed the Xbox One Version. Too. You can just say different console. Different experience for the game. Its practically going to be the same. With all of his big gripes with the game. He wasn't only showcasing flaws with the PC version. Batman Fanboys, don't understand the review, just Freak out about the score. Finding ways to justify a game that acts like a villain Roster Update of the past games.
You can't just say*
Raymond Felton Batman isnt my favorite superhero so and i know that some fanboys are crying right now cuz he gave it a 6/10 but I think that if he ONLY played on PS4 cuz it ran PERFECT and not on PC, and maybe I think that he wouldn't give it a 6/10, maybe a 7/10 and i gave it a 8/10. 1 more thing,
Crane isnt rly famous for having a fist fight with batman just giving him some fear gas and fuck his head up and that's what they did and they did that well so i dont rly see the reason of being dissapointed of him. :)
Just started playing Batman Arkham Knight. And I'm loving it so far. About halfway through the game and can't complain. You can tell the developers really worked hard on this and it's a masterpiece. Considering it's replayable and still enjoyable, all these years later. I'd definitely recommend it... 🔥
I feel like these games are comparable to the Nolan movies. If Asylum is Batman Begins, and City is The Dark Knight, then Arkham Knight is The Dark Knight Rises. It's fun at times but not perfect.
You're so right
That's exactly what I've been saying
Eerie0Innocence +++===---spoiler---===+++ similar ending to rises too with the 100% knightfall protocol ending.
I thought batman begins was the worst in the series :/
U on crack. Dark Knight rises was the best Batman movie ever. Had the most action packed in the series.

I have it on PC and I really enjoy it but I agree with the "World of Tanks: Batman Edition." I'm getting a little tired of having to use the Batmobile.
If only we knew back then...
This game would be a great game if you've never played an Arkham game. But because I have before it was underwelming and disappointing.
I swear you spend two thirds of the game in the Batmobile, the story was very mediocre, and there weren't that many improvements to the game other than its graphics which most systems couldn't handle well.
Very mediocre game, over hyped and under delivered. It's still fun, but this wasn't a very satisfying conclusion to the Arkham series
+Dovahkiff That's one of the reasons why I think Arkham Origins is highly underrated. Good story. Maybe not the best but certainly enjoyable. And the boss fights, which I enjoy even more overall than City, were awesome. Knight just took a steep drop for me.
Exactly HOW is it the best? It's decent to me but by no means would I call it the best.
***** It has the biggest map and the best graphics, but those do not necessarily make a game and at best are minimal compared to more important aspects. Scarecrow is awesome but he's pretty much an afterthought when the whole thing is over. The story is good but it is by far not a worthy send off for Batman. While the missions were fun, they were also brought down many times by a lot of issues. The Batmobile is hit and miss. It's fun one minute and frustrating the next. They emphasized way too much gameplay on the Batmobile and the game suffers for it. This is a Batman game. Not a Batmobile game. Virtually ever boss fight tailors to the Batmobile and at times it becomes an unenjoyable pain (Scavenger boss battle in the tunnels is atrocious). The game itself lacks any real excellent boss battles, something both City and Origins excelled at. In fact, Asylum, Origins and City easily have better stories. Not saying Arkham Knight is an awful game, but they took too many hits for me to say it's the best in the series.
Well to each his own. You're the only person I know that loves the highly frustrating Batmobile segments and the nonexistent boss battles.
Yeah, if their had been less bat-tank simulator and more face-to-face boss battles, like in Origins, it would have been much better. Also I would have preferred a stealthier, actual batman-like way to deal with the militia.
Before Joe's review: "Yeah, the PC version is shit, but the game itself is fantastic!"
After Joe's review: "This game is fucking shit. Period."
Sheep are funny.
DarkGames But the comments seem to think otherwise.
***** Mate, that's how people are. When a well known critic has an opinion everyone's suddenly scared to have their own. I do love people sometimes :P

Fanboys when Angryjoe or Gamespot give 6/10: Wah!!! AK is epic game joe is a fool wahhh!!! This game is masterpiece. People who don't like AK are stupid wahhh!!!
Fanboys are retards.
***** I respect your opinion, but I personally don't find superhero games (in general) all that great, I did find Arkham city just fine. This whole Arkham series kinda got dragged.
DarkGames Yeah, he didn't it was bad, he just rated it worse than Watchdogs
LOL , oh boy if the fanboys ripped on gamespot for a 7/10 i cant WAIT to read this comment section lol
***** Wait there are fanboys behind this game series too?
Frankie Reese oh brother it was a disgusting battle between fanboys and gamespot. all for giving the game a 7 lol

I said it
***** This is why I'm glad I don't listen to Gamespot and IGN's opinions anymore. Most (if not all) of their reviewers have demoted to hypocrites and people who don't even give a crap about what they're reviewing anymore. I only watch these reviews just to see what they'll do next to piss off people. I'll stick with Metacritic for reviews from on.
Funny Joe calls it that the next Rocksteady game would be a Justice League game, although I’m sure it’s not the one he expected or wanted😂😭
Goes to show. Not _everything_ is better on PC
***** I am aware of that -_-
xkggaming supergaming I said not _everything_ is better in PC. Nowhere in that comment did I say that the PC was bad because of this
*sighs* PC Elitists..
***** (Your grammar check was stupid)
I am _NOT_ saying PC is bad because of a bad port. I have seen plenty of excellent games on the PC, and ones that are better on the PC as a whole, however, some are ported poorly and don't play very well, thus: Not _everything_ is better on PC.
Good point, I'd rather just play a game and not have to deal with all the config shit. I love all platforms but I find myself going to my console for gaming because I don't wanna waste the very little time I have after work tweaking.
Juzzo LOL tweaking... i launch the game i run it if it lags or does not look good i just go to options change the resolution, texture, graphics.... and done atleast i cant change it from 30-100+ fps or from 800x600 to 4k resolution....
[Spoiler Alert]
I was really hyped to fight deathstroke. After completing ALL the militia side missions it ended up being a damn tank battle. SO DISAPPOINTING
Samee Fiasco i know how you feel man, when deathstroke launched out of the tank, I was like, "ohhhh snap it's about to go down" and then batman just straight up quick time events his face into the ground....that was more disappointing than the arkham knight reveal...
I was disappointed by all of the boss fights tbh. As you said Deathstroke was a tank battle which was just too easy for a merc that wanted a big fight, Two Face was merely a standard thug, Penguin was a quick time event, the Arkham Knight was a sneak puzzle, Riddler was a QTE with minor fight beforehand, the Firefly chases were ALL THE SAME, the guy who copied Bruce Wayne was a QTE and Professor Pyg was just a fight that required ground beat downs. Very dull for a game that has clever mechanics
Agreed
Samee Fiasco
I completely agree... the deathstroke fight in Arkham Origins was better and I'm not even a big fan of that game.
I stopped watching the review after 8:26. Epic fail there in your review. Do you know why Rocksteady said BE THE BATMAN? It means, you have chance of using most advanced technology in form of Bat suit and Batmbobile that only Bruce Wayne can afford and save the city and the people that he loves forever from most wanted criminals. That's Batman does. With this game we have a chance to do that as Batman in Arkhamverse. You also said it is like remaster of other three? What did you expect? Did you expect that Batman will fight and save Metropolis or Starling City? Rocksteady certainly delivered us the masterpiece. It just some people like you dontt understand how to take it.
28:47
+Batman Fanatic i just finished the game recently and i disagree with the fact that this a masterpiece. arkham city was a masterpiece this is the second best in the series in my opinion because of joker and the awesome moments but overall they did over use the batmobile alot that i got me annoyed and the fact it was obvious that J T is the arkham knight. i like the family aspect and the ending was fantastic. i would give the game an 8 in my opinion i found 6 a bit to harsh
+Batman Fanatic I guarantee you I'm a bigger Batman fan than you and I agree with pretty much everything Joe said... the drone combat is WAY over-used (and I actually like the addition of the Batmobile)... The boss fights are laughably easy or just non-existent in some cases (seriously I didn't die once on my first play-through, though newgame+ added some more difficulty, just not enough)... I love the Red Hood character so naturally I hated what they did with him here (AK a new character, my fuckin ballsack, he'd never team up with Scarecrow, the reason he even hates Batman is because he didn't kill the Joker, so it doesn't make sense that he'd be out for Batmans blood when everyone thinks he killed Joker)... the lack of a fully realised Bat-cave annoyed me to no end. This is still a good game, totally worth the asking price, but I'd rate Asylum, City AND Origins higher. Asylum had a tighter focus with a great story, City was easily the best, enhancing on everything from Asylum, and Origins had the best boss battles if nothing else.
Arkham Knight felt rushed, with the best thing about it (other than graphics) having the Joker in your head. It's far from a masterpiece when comparing with the others in the franchise, which is what it had to live up to and surpass, which quite frankly, it didn't.
City was Rocksteady's Masterpiece, not Knight.
Lol. I guess your the batman fanboys that Joe talked about.
MrCursed DCUO and?... Joe is a self confessed superman fanboy, what of it?
The Batman and Superman skit was hilarious
It incapacitates you...FOREVER!!! I almost died. Hahaha

Well you couldn't go to Wayne's house so obviously you couldn't (I know I'm replying to a 2year old comment)
I said. The same thing the reveal trailer had batman leave the cave in the bat mobile but in game you got none of that
i would much prefer Wayne manner 😎
this game is awesome .. very sorry for pc users
+Serious station I think there might be a different mentality between pc gamers and console gamers. PC issues asside, not many pc gamers love the game even when it does work. All the points joe makes are valid, and to me the extreme excess in batmobile missions made what could have been a thoroughly enjoyable top notch game repetitive and at times a chore. Perhaps pc gamers like to be a bit more immersed in the game or something, as i have noticed that console gamers like the game better, even when the pc game runs smoothly.
I played it on PC and it was Fine the Game was Super fun still have side quests to Unlock Full Knightfall protocol :D
Played from Asylum.
Asylum comparing to other batman games was pretty Creepy at some points.
So sad that It's the Last Arkham game
I can agree with you on that last point. Once I got to knightfall protocol I thought I would try the riddler missions but when I jumped online for a guide and saw how much more batmobile there was I decided to call it. I enjoyed the game, but not as much as the previous 3 and not enough to play again, and certainly not enough to score it as high as some of those sites (who we all know get paid off for their IGNorant reviews) have.
5000 PC but hurt fanboys and counting
This games story is sort off like red hood
So I immediately knew the knight was
Spoiler
Jason Todd.
But of course everybody knows that it's so obvious
I just replayed and finished Arkham knight and it seriously still holds up as one of the best if not the best looking batman game ever I don’t think Gotham knights can even hold a candle to this
Big shoes to fill in,because Gotham Knights is going to have to match the greatness of the Arkham games, but we don’t have Rocksteady doing this one,so it’s probably not going to happen. Arkham Knight is even better than Arkham City! The combos are annoyingly stopped in Arkham City,if an enemy is knocked on the ground. In Arkham Knight this is fixed where you can continue your combo on a down enemy and not break your combo. So now if you do break a combo it’s your fault, rather than being an outdated issue with the game.
For those wondering, the 100 percent completion ending is 100 percent unsatisfying.
is it still boring?
It really is. It's not worth all the work you have to do to get it.
It gives you the worst reward for all those hours of hard work!
now Origin doesn't look so bad huh?
Stitchedheart17 a new skin. The same suit featured in the game except the bat symbol is golden
Im still waiting for Whiterun Guard: Dragons reach dungeon game to come out, then the sequel, Whiterun Guard: Dragons reach city.
Then I want the prequel, Whiterun Guard: Dragons Reach origins.
Then, the worst and last in the series, Whiterun Guard: Dragons reach Arrow to the lolligaggin sweetroll.
Thats the most anticipated franchise of all time
When Joker was shown for the first time, i shit my pants because it scared me so bad :(
We were all surprise, I was jumping on my seat because rocksteady clearly said before the release that joker was dead and will not come back.
O.M.D Dugal Well Joker is dead & technically he didn't come back
O.M.D Dugal Not literally that is....
O.M.D Dugal they also said arkham knight is brand new while thats true it also isnt

Wow, Batman uses Egyptian cotton? No wonder he can fight crime with complete and utter confidence, his skin is so comftorable with that sweet cotton against his skin.
Not only that, but they wasted Deathstroke as a villain by making him another militia flunky. Slade deserves better than that.
Also Joe, in response to why Superman never showed up to help, here's the answer. It's Scarecrow, the guy who is flooding the city with fear toxin. You saw what that stuff did to Batman, now imagine what would happen if SUPERMAN were under the influence of fear toxin.
Either the world would end, or we get a repeat of the Injustice alternate world where he goes psychotic and takes over the world.
Death stroke is just a boring asshat in cool custom armour, like he's a walking cliche
+John Barry Do you even know anything about DeathStroke? At all?
+Alduin yeah, spade was an army recruit who excelled at everything, he fucked his instructor. Shit hit the fan and he's a cliche fest
+John Barry And Batman isn't? Superman isn't?

Oh god those dislikes and this comment section, people can be so dumb it's not even funny.
If you aren't gonna appreciate someone else's score of a game don't watch reviews, like ever in your entire life, it's a waste of time you obviously just want someone to agree with you.
Secondly the people who think it's great to rip into PC gaming as a whole because of this game, firstly that helps no one or nothing, you're just being a child at that point. Secondly shit like this happens on consoles, it has in the past and will happen again eg Two Worlds 2, AC Unity, Master Chief collection not having a working MP.
Whenever a game comes out that doesn't work it shows how little the publishers care about you, and how stupid they think you are, should use it as a chance to protest against the publisher even if its not your platform, not just take a cheap shot at what consumer got affected.
All this wisdom will fall on deaf ears...
#tragic
+KillerFugu The Master Chief collection works tho
+KillerFugu Hahahaha, didn't the "Two Worlds" games, both 1 and 2 suck on all platforms? Those games were a Morrowind copycat failure to the maximum, and by maximum I mean the absolute maximum of the shit factor.
TheRedRaven Oh yea they were terrible games everywhere, but they ran at around 15fps mostly on console, was jank as shit. Like an entire game of Blight town.
+KillerFugu people dislike because they watch this too late and spend 60 dallaz
I love Joe, I feel like he expresses my exact feelings with the game to a much bigger audience, its like thousands of people are also seeing my opinion and frustrations with the game.
Vir Beast Ditto. I'd give the game a slightly higher score, and I don't regret my purchase one bit, but all of Joe's criticisms with the game are spot-on.
I'm glad that Joe makes these videos because there's a much higher chance of the developers checking out his reviews than reading any comments that I or others might make online.
The ending of this review aged like milk 😆

A few things mistaken in this review
1. Ice grenade is in Panessa Movie studios not GCPD.
2. The bat mobile shoots 'riot suppressor' shot at people supposedly made out of rubber. Not killing them.
Daenerys Targaryen You can still kill them either way
Zita Alves you can kill them with a punch too. Then again

"Skip ahead if you want to avoid spoilers"
. . . to where? A minute? 10 minutes? Should I just stop watching altogether?
sirgaz Yes, I asked the same thing. But sadly my comment got lost about five hours ago. He needs to put a time stamp on it for getting past the spoilers. I skipped to half way, and then started skipping backwards to somewhere where he talks about combat. Seemed pretty safe.
Warstub If you guys are worried about spoilers you shouldn't watch this review. Pretty much.
Siddharth Singh I - tentatively - agree. But, he did give us the option of skipping ahead, so, the question remains: skip ahead to where?
Although you can skip ahead to around 7:30 (ish) minute mark .. but he talks about the "thing" again intermittently through out the video and gives some more opinion. There is another hinted spoiler somewhere again in the review.(Way too many spoilers). So I am not sure if you should skip ahead if you don't want to be spoiled inadvertently.
Siddharth Singh Cheers. That's the sort of information we who haven't played it needed. Though, I did watch most of it after the spoiler warning, and it didn't really phase me. I think we just need to be prepared for not getting the stunning conclusion that everyone expected. Thanks. :)
If you played asylum and city you'll understand how much of a disappointment this was
I have played Arkham City, and Arkham Knight was still better.
Well I have played Batman Arkham City and Origins but I haven't played Batman Arkham Knight because of it's massive PC requirements and my PC isn't a BEAST!
Just playing allongside Joker's constant comments made it so worth it to me xD
The only disappointment in the whole trilogy to me was Arkham City. I can't honestly figure out the love for City. The open world killed it, seeing as they BARELY made traversal faster. Knight had the complete package. Yes, the Batmobile was divisive (I actually enjoyed it), but people were whining about not getting to use it for 3 games, then they finally put it in and everyone whines about how MUCH it's in there. People just need to make up their fucking minds. Knight was vastly superior to City in every possible way, and by a laughably large margin, at that.
Chris Taylor Your right man, but I still like Batman Arkham City and Arkham Origins. I haven't played Batman Arkham Knight and Arkham Asylum yet, because Batman Arkham Knight's PC requirements are f*cking HUGE, and my graphics card is only AMD Radeon 6570 1GB DDR3 and not a f*cking NVIDIA GTX Titan or AMD Radeon R9 290X Damn It!
It would be such a bad idea to have civilians. What would you do? Stop muggings? And also you'd have to drive the Batmobile slowly and carefully. Exciting....
iReece4498 And what will they do when they see you walk on the street? a 100 civilians stop walking and taking u pic? lol and they know u guys will try something funny to hurt them that's not batman
Angry joe is a stupid reviewer for me now time to UNSUB
Akaradet Somrak bye
iReece4498 How about just remove the batmobille? Or, as Joe said, keep it in a few missions, when it's absolutely required? As for civilians, if they would make Gotham city alive and add those "muggins", as you say, every now and then (and not just some little crime like purse stealing or something i mean like mobsters in the show) and made popular villains take their part in the game (not some brief cameo) i think it would give more of a Batman experience. To be inside his usual nights. I wanted to see how Gotham city looks when it's alive, working shops, people walking here and there, you know like an actual city. I thought it was easy to understand.
iReece4498 it would be as bad an idea as the movies and comics which are all placed in a very populated Gotham i guess..
It would have been cool too see more people others then the thugs on the streets. Say not everyone got out in time and you could either save them as side missions or just have encounters with them.
Man, I remember how this game was loathed for the PC performance. Thankfully it’s much more optimized nowadays
6/10? This game was an 8 or 9 at least come on now.
tarheelfan407
why?
becuase you like it more than he does?
It was a average game 7/10
*****
here's how you review a game, YOU DON'T GIVE IT A SCORE WHILE PLAYING or RIGHT AFTER YOU FINISHED IT.
you have to let your emotion cool down, so you can judge the game better.
and yes, of course I understand what you are saying, the thing is, the guy who I replied to, he said ''6/10? This game was an 8 or 9 at least come on now.''
and I was only telling him that it's all about opinions, there's no ''this game is at least 8/10, come on now''
It is all just fucking opinions.
tarheelfan407 I'd give it an 8/10, but I can see why he'd give it a 6.
鄭皓宇 dudes name is ANGRY Joe. Dafaq had you expecting calm?
"It's Nightwing! I'm not Robin anymore"

OMG! Rocksteady NEEDS to make a Superman game now!
I'd rather have a flash game, or justice League that let's you switch characters like Lego games.

Paul Dini's presence was very much missed in Arkham Knight
