He was getting to the point he couldn't drive his electric wheelchair around himself and one day he ran in to a wall and the skin on his forearm just peeled back like butter. It was so bad! 😭🤢

I take care of my 94 yr old grandmother and her skin is like paper! And bruises at a simple touch. Even when I bathe her and towel her off even the towel touching her skin hurts her 😢 But she is very healthy otherwise and mentally all there so we are very lucky. As we age, those two start to separate, which causes the very thin epidermis to slide over the more dense dermis. Therefore, the older someone is, the more prone they are to what we call "friction injury."
I had a friend that worked in the morgue at a medical university, working with the donated bodies/parts. She told us about someone donating their skin from having their hand degloved and she and all her coworkers tried it on like a glove. Anyways, maybe don't cross people that work with bodies.
Though fun fact not to ruin the joke her advice is actually good especially for people like me who can often suffer with starting tasks doing other smaller tasks does ease you into it. It's a legit technique to manage procrastinating but I forgot the name
