One of my favorite locomotives. Put a lot of horsepower and tractive effort into a small package.

Looks like a quick clip of Southport yard, Rt 14 between Horseheads and Pine Valley, Horseheads station, the "holding point ", Montour Falls, Watkins Glen, Chemung Street under the Lackawanna. Great !

Great footage, thanks for sharing. It was shot between 1955 and 1957. The PRR "Shadow Keystone" with PENNSYLVANIA spelled out in large letters started in mid 1955. Steam ended in 1957. I would like to see more home movies like this posted to You Tube. Thanks.

Some of the best Pennsy Decapod footage I've seen. Thank you for sharing.

Look at those people just passing by on the highway. If this happened today that highway would be full of cars and gawkers!

Great footage of one of the best locos that the pennsy had. If you ever get a chance, look for a video called the ore train. It was filmed in the mid to late 50's by a man named clarence weaver.

Nice footage! A couple corrections: Pennsy's I1sa (not I1as) were Decapods. Allegheny's were 2-6-6-6's built for the C&O.
