Ok so this happened: Long story short, the women came with check was her bio-mom, for context, she got her self pregnant at 20 or something and it was twins but her sister means the adopted parents of OP having difficulties having kids so they decided to adopt them but when they found out they were twins they refused to take the other one because they only wanted one of them but they eventually adopted both of them. Well for OP she left the house with the check when they demanded the money and reconnected with her bio mom
