LV is my favorite luxe designer but yeah the inconsistency is so annoying and that’s why I haven’t pulled the trigger on a bag yet. So far my SLGs have been serving me well but with my luck I can see getting a bag and having these quality issues people keep being up and I have no time for all that. I’m very happy with my contemporary designer brands at the moment and they look just as good IMO 😊 love how you are showing each piece up close and a little recap of each item. Super helpful 👍

Regarding the lock... I think if a product is sent internationally it has to list the country of origin. So your lock with 'made in France' has the ability to be sent along with your bag or as a replacement piece separately.
That makes total sense! I just wish all the bags that are MIF that come with a lock would all be the same. My cousin got a MIF Alma and the lock she got didn’t say MIF. So it’s a bit confusing🤪😅 Hope you have an amazing day!😘😘😘 Gina❤️
I wonder if LV gets a separate box of locks that they add to each individual bag order when it's sold. Maybe stored in that little purse prep room where they tie the ribbon etc.... Who knows?....

I’m going to check to see if my only LV item, Summer Trunks 2018 Speedy 30 in Monogram, has a “made in France” engraving. I never even noticed. My original lock was 311, (which I love because my fave number is 3 and 11 is my path year), but it tarnished without me ever even using it, so I went to the LV store out here in NYC on 5th Ave and 57th St, and they gave me a new one in a box, but I never used it either, it’s still in its box. Haven’t worn my purse since April, oooh I hope it hasn’t tarnished. That would be sad. I’ll have to check it out. Anyway...rant...LOL...LOVE your videos!!! ❤️❤️❤️-Jess

Hopefully it didn’t tarnish✨ They seem to tarnish even when not in use😭😭 I would most definitely recommend the Kirigami set if you’re in need of different sized pouches and the PS mini is so easy to use with a lot of versatility but you should wait on it! Nice collection gina! My palmsprings pm got deemed defective recently. I always grabbed the backpack by the top handle and it ended up cracking all around the glazing part because of it keep stretching..if this makes any sense lol.

Yes i never expected that they would offer me credit or a new one. Ill probably get the mm size because i need more space for my 2 toddlers but they never have any in stock so im just waiting. There's no other bag on my radar at the moment but i do want the speedy nano too just for fun🤣🤗

I finally found a mini pochette! I’ve been asking and looking in different cities and countries. Finally got it in my neck of the woods in NYC. 😆 I also never paid too much attention to how the handles position on the Speedy to achieve an even patina of the leather.

If the item is just really hard to get then I usually just try to get them in store. But it depends on the item. Great collection! And I had no idea about the hardware on some of the SLGs! Also I had the kiragmi set but didn’t know what to do with it so I sold it 🙈 I find myself often keeping LV canvas pieces because they are hard to find but I have to remember to keep what I love!

That's one thing that keeps me from buying Louis Vuitton! Their hardware isn't brass. It's just a painted metal, so you can't polish it to keep it looking good. That's why I find it weird that you would rather have an LV chain strap because you think it is "high quality materials." No offense meant! Just confused me. Love videos that focus down on the items. Good choice!
Hi lvoe!❤️ Sorry I should have explained in the video😅😅 I was told by the SA that LV uses 2 different kinds of metals in their items. One being the “not so great” quality that it’s just painted over and cannot be polished and the other being a higher quality (like this chain, and other hardware in more expensive items) that actually can be polished.✨ I’m not sure why they don’t just use the same high quality metal for everything🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ That would be ideal✨🙌 But hopefully now it makes more for you~ that’s what I meant with the chain😅😅 Hope you have an amazing day!❤️😘😘 Gina❤️

I hate the SA OR CA when they polish stuff from Louis Vuitton The director from my store insisted to polish my multicolor Sarah wallet with leather cleaner and she stated that “I do it all the time I was a directors over coach for 25 plus years now I am working for LOUIS VUITTON!! LV IS NOT COACH LADY please don’t ruined my warranties for your uneducated statement I was so so upset 😭 I called LV customer service but she is still the director which makes no sense

I wonder if LV gets a separate box of locks that they add to each individual bag order when it's sold. Maybe stored in that little purse prep room where they tie the ribbon etc.... Who knows?....

I’m going to check to see if my only LV item, Summer Trunks 2018 Speedy 30 in Monogram, has a “made in France” engraving. I never even noticed. My original lock was 311, (which I love because my fave number is 3 and 11 is my path year), but it tarnished without me ever even using it, so I went to the LV store out here in NYC on 5th Ave and 57th St, and they gave me a new one in a box, but I never used it either, it’s still in its box. Haven’t worn my purse since April, oooh I hope it hasn’t tarnished. That would be sad. I’ll have to check it out. Anyway...rant...LOL...LOVE your videos!!! ❤️❤️❤️-Jess

Hopefully it didn’t tarnish✨ They seem to tarnish even when not in use😭😭 I would most definitely recommend the Kirigami set if you’re in need of different sized pouches and the PS mini is so easy to use with a lot of versatility but you should wait on it! Nice collection gina! My palmsprings pm got deemed defective recently. I always grabbed the backpack by the top handle and it ended up cracking all around the glazing part because of it keep stretching..if this makes any sense lol.

Yes i never expected that they would offer me credit or a new one. Ill probably get the mm size because i need more space for my 2 toddlers but they never have any in stock so im just waiting. There's no other bag on my radar at the moment but i do want the speedy nano too just for fun🤣🤗

If the item is just really hard to get then I usually just try to get them in store. But it depends on the item. That's one thing that keeps me from buying Louis Vuitton! Their hardware isn't brass. It's just a painted metal, so you can't polish it to keep it looking good. That's why I find it weird that you would rather have an LV chain strap because you think it is "high quality materials." No offense meant! Just confused me.

One being the “not so great” quality that it’s just painted over and cannot be polished and the other being a higher quality (like this chain, and other hardware in more expensive items) that actually can be polished.✨ I’m not sure why they don’t just use the same high quality metal for everything🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ That would be ideal✨🙌 But hopefully now it makes more for you~ that’s what I meant with the chain😅😅 Hope you have an amazing day!❤️😘😘 Gina❤️
