I camped out for her tickets in Minnesota in the winter time for her first tour and then the next day I went to the presentation where they gave her the key to the city and I stayed for the Black cat music video taping that followed. I met Renee there at the taping of black cat Renee gave me 20 tickets for that show that evening, heavy d came out on stage and I lost my mind but I enjoyed the show twice I still have some of those tickets left I kept them as a souvenir.

I think she gets unfairly overlooked because Madonna and Whitney were from the same period, and because of MJ. It's a shame because she's so talented and had a lot of great music. Newer music fans have no idea how huge she was - and a lot of people forget her songs in the late 90s and 2000s (like Doesn't Really Matter, All For You, and Together Again).

Ignoring their duty to remain objective and give the audience the facts. Rather they base their comments on public opinion and lazy journalism despite MJ being found INNOCENT
I was thinking the same thing, with the exception of Whoopie, who was hospitalized, the remaining hosts were really into that documentary last year and saying they were not going to ever listen to MJ's music again.

This time around it seems she is getting her just due with Countless awards and being inducted into the rock and roll Hall of fame. It seems the dark cloud as been lifted at last. But both of them and Mariah are here still, so we should cherish and be so glad for what they have given us over the many years.
