yo bro, i've seen you uploaded lots of tlot tlot stuff! that's my dad! 😅😅 how did you get to know mitw and tlot tlot. just by looking at this video and your others, are you russian or just into russian music. (i hope this is russian coz i must look really stupid otherwise) anyways dad would be glad to hear if people from other country's know about his music. from your other vids like the TISM ones and the TMBG ones we have similar music taste. also seen your mr floppy uploads. dad said he used to play with them! thanks, clancy
I've been getting into Kalmyk music recently (Kalmykia is a Mongolian-speaking region of Russia in the Northern Caucasus region [south-west of Russia]) - Arkady Mandjiev (the singer in this video) is one of the most popular Kalmyk musos. I'm Melburnian born and bred, though - discovered MITW's Thumper EP in an op shop almost 10 years ago. I also met Matt from the Mavis's (the guys who sang "Cry") recently, and he told me he knew your dad from back in the day.
There's a section on Tlot Tlot in Jane Gazzo's new book about the Aussie 90s music scene, but not much else. Hopefully it'll get people to check them out.
do you by chance have the making of halo dvd? Can you please dump it to an ISO file and send it to me?
