I am afraid of heights ... and flying even in big planes makes me think of all that space underneath the carpet .. nevertheless some time ago I told my stunned girlfriend . to think of roaming the skies in a Tiger Moth makes me hum with delight 🌹:)

Owning this plane for 34 years he knows how to fly it nice and safe .. Kim's career as 37 years in airlines also helps retired last year..Thank you for watching 👍👍
My very first flight was in my dads tiger moth about 60 years ago , my last flight was in the left seat of a 777 coming home from Australia.

@@kevinandgemma7740 I did a lot of trips from Vancouver to Sydney and back . Just short of 45 years in the airlines . Always enjoyed Australia.
That's a great life then interesting .. Kim the owner of this plane retired from Virgin as a captain received a payout during the world problem .. Had enough after 37 years ..
@@kevinandgemma7740 i flew a lot of very long haul flights for the last 25 years of it . Very exhausting.
I am very happy to be retired but miss a lot of wonderful people and the fun …I sure don’t miss the responsibility of it all though.
@@kevinandgemma7740 I met quite a few virgin crews over the years in Narita Japan . Pretty sure we have lifted a few pints in some of the same watering holes 😂😎

Tom Cruise is around 80 knots.. The engine is only run full power on take off..

@@lame4458 I live in Albury my friends have planes and farms this is where the videos are done .. When I lived in Kilsyth I had my plane first at Lilydale then Cold stream before I moved to Albury..Then I kept it at the farm here.. Since sold it ..
I have no idea how much oil a relatively new engine of this type is expected to burn, but a liter in two hours sounds alarming to me.
These engines do burn quite a bit around that much .. With the modifications to the piston and rings it brings it down to nearly nothing , thank you for the comment 👍👍
