ஒரு கிராமம். ஊருக்கு மேற்கு பகுதியில் ஒரு குளம். அதிலிருந்து மடை வழியாக வரும் தண்ணீரை வயல்வெளி பயிர்களுக்கு பாய்ச்சுவர். ஒரு சமயம் அதிக தண்ணீர் குளத்திற்கு வந்தது. குளத்தின் கரையில் ஒரு ஓட்டை போன்ற சேதம் ஏற்பட்டு தண்ணீர் மட மட என்று ஊரிலுள்ள குடியிருப்பு பகுதியை நோக்கி வருகிறது. அச்சமயத்தில் அந்த வழியாக வந்த ஒருவர் அந்த திறந்த ஓட்டையை உடனடியாக அடைத்து தண்ணீர் வருவதை நிறுத்தி அந்த ஊரை காப்பாற்ற பல வழிகளில் முயற்சி செய்தும் பலனில்லை. இறுதியாக தானே அந்த திறப்பிலே ஒரு அடைப்பாக உட்கார்ந்துவிட்டார். ஊர் மக்கள் காப்பாற்றப்பட்டனர். மூன்று நாட்கள் கழித்து அந்த பக்கமாக வந்த ஊர் மக்கள் அவரைப் பார்த்து அவசரமாக மேலே தூக்கினர். ஆனால் அவர் 'அது'வாகிவிட்டார். 'அவர்' பிணமாகி விட்டார். கண்களில் எத்தனை பேருக்கு கண்ணீர் வருகிறது?
ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உலகின் பாவம் மிதமிஞ்சிய நிலையில் அந்த பாவக் கடலிலிருந்து மனுக்குலத்தை மீட்டெடுக்க தன்னையே மீட்கும்பொருளாக ஒப்புக் கொடுத்து சிலுவையில் தனது பரிசுத்த இரத்தம் சிந்தி மரித்தார். பிசாசு மூலமாக வந்த பாவமாகிய திறப்பிலே தாம் நின்று பரிகாரம் செய்தார். அவர் பரிசுத்தர் ஆதலால் மூன்று நாட்கள் கழித்து பிதாவாகிய தேவன் அவரை உயிரோடு எழுப்பினார். இப்போது ஜீவன் உள்ளவராக இருக்கும் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிப்போருக்கு நித்திய ஜீவனை அளிக்க கிருபை பொருந்தியவராக இருக்கிறார். ஆமென்.
