Stranger Than Paradise | A Micro-Short Film | 2015 | 90 seconds

"Love never dies."
Stranger Than Paradise is a 90-second short film that I made in College. We were tasked with making a short film without dialogue and using natural light.
I shot this on my Canon 60D in Mount Holly Cemetery in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. The title is a take on the song that is used in the short. Stranger in Paradise has always been a favorite of mine and I felt this version fit this short so well.
When I made this short, which was a class project, I had forgotten to charge my batteries in my 60D. I recorded this with about 10% battery life. We moved really quick to get this done. We shot this in Jan of 2015 and got lucky by filming on a nice warm day. We ended up having snow and ice the following week and had we pushed the production, we wouldn't have been able to film for a good time.
