Hi! In today's video, I take you along with me to Melbourne city to see the incredible NGV Triennial exhibition (The NGV Triennial brings contemporary art, design, and architecture into dialogue, offering a visually arresting and thought-provoking view of the world at this time.) seeing areas such as the Moja Moja Life: Misaki Kawai for Kids exhibition, Quantum Memories, DIAMOND STINGILY, KIM SIHYUN Identification (ID) Photo Project etc
Later in the day, we went Ice skating at the O'Brien Icehouse! This challenged me physically and mentally but I'm very glad I pushed through and was surrounded by friends who gave me the confidence to do so. definitely recommend going ice skating if you haven't tried it out already!
I'm very lucky to live in Melbourne - where at the moment, we have 0 cases of community transmission. This means that we can go about our lives as normal, with some restrictions of course. At the moment, we're allowed to have 30 people over to our homes, 100 people in public gatherings and masks are only required in certain areas (those are the main ones)

I know it's hard (cause I was also in lockdown for 7 months) my best tip would be to put in as much effort as you can into a side hustle. This literally fuels you. Haha for me in England they claim to be on track, I am 16 and will be getting it this Friday as I am on immunosuppresents. This is group 6 by the gov, I think there are 9 or 10, so we are doing well.
@@maskitmati it’s going really well, we’re going so quick! My dad is having his vaccine in a couple of weeks but my mum is still waiting. I think things will get much better for us in the next few months 💖
well, not very good for Mexico, vaccines are here but it´s not enough, they´ve only vaccined some people. And I don´t know if it is only here, but for kids/teenagers under 16 won´t have the vaccine because they didn´t proved the vaccine for under 16 :(
In the netherlands only old people can get the vaccine now. Our goverment said everyone will have the vaccine in july. so yeahhh hahah
In my country, we’re probably gonna go through another year of qurantine and im so over it since i’ll be graduating from uni soon 🙄

True! We are still mandated to wear masks in certain areas

All of our state (victoria) was in lockdown for 3 months 🥴 sad life and mask were mandatory everywhere (even in the country areas and we claimed to have the toughest restrictions in the word at that time) and still to this day we have to wear them in certain places (supermarkets, public transport, shopping centres etc) even though there is 0 cases in our state 🥴 (covid gets out bc of the hotel quarantine system which allows overseas travellers to enter the country that continues to fail thus putting us in crazy lockdowns even though victorians do the right thing!!! And we cannot get rid of that system cos it’s overruled by national parliament even though ITS A HEALTH ISSUE NOT A POLITICAL ONE AHHHHHHHH I HATE THIS STATE) sorry but it’s not fun here
@@stephanielouise8 the only place you still have to wear masks is places where you can’t effectively social distance (eg. Public transport, shopping centres, supermarkets etc.)
It’s 100% a much funner state than being somewhere that’s still locked down/has hundreds of people dying all day 🙄
@@saphiaer our state goes in lockdown if more than 5 people are infected a which is better than death however the unnecessary strict lockdowns such as u cannot leave for house unless it’s for food, 1 hour exercise, essential work and the other 2 reasons I forget causes a lot of stress, loss of profits and increase in taxes !! (Even other states and territories will close their borders to us) Especially in the country areas loosing small businesses and people going broke is still problematic and this can be ongoing until early next year (once the whole country is vaccinated)

No we are not COVID free....just look at Brisbane to see how easily an outbreak can occur...we have done a great job of suppressing the virus...there will be further occasional outbreaks but we have become very good at controlling those outbreaks...because we did the right thing initially as we knew it would be beneficial for all in the long run

Melbourne has been the strictest so far with its lockdown, and now seeing people happy enjoying there life after Covid really makes me happy and gives me hope that it with happen in my country too.
Yeah 2020 definitely had it’s ups and downs. So grateful to have this freedom now 🥰 hopefully things get better in your country!

I’ve lived in Melbourne for almost 12 years and never once have I seen a snake (outside of the zoo) snakes would more so be in regional areas :)
