The song and video are so beautiful. The first shot is tender intimacy with Woods as he gets into the lyrics while smoking, thinking of the girl he's singing about. The matte grey of the smoke and metallic glint of his nose ring add contrast to the close-up of his face. The shot of him dancing on the rooftop is honestly iconic. I love it so much. The long-lasting shots of the video are not at all boring, in fact, the length is intriguing, as well as the angles. The shot where he appears to be in a car lets me know that this girl he knew is still on his mind, even when he's with his friends driving somewhere. His motioning shadow on the sidewalk brings to mind a lonely person, speaking to no one apparent except the wan moon. Toward the end when his voice cracks into an emotional growl while singing, then his face is slowly consumed more and more by shadow, you realise despite being a successful singer with OVO he is still prone to human feelings and vulnerability. He doesn't want this girl to be jealous of him and his career and his new girl, who treats him right.

If you're a videographer you can easily tell that it wasn't shot on a "cheap" camera and that the degradation of the quality is on purpose. 1. The intro starts out very clean before slowly fading in the noise, hence why some parts of the video are noiser than others. 2 Only few camera has this great ISO and dynamic range to record the parts where he stands on the ladder without any external light. 3. yep drake is very popular all over the world not just the us .
Why is he so underrated? His music is fucking fire! Like I'm actually mad how all the best artists are so unknown.
Idk why but I love the outro so much like the way the beats is about to end with his raspy vocals ahhh👌🏽
Bringing back memories frfr😩😔 I used to listen this a lot before me & my now HUSBAND we’re married.. He used to ask me all the time in beginning of relationship why I was always smiling and happy, even though he was running in the streets…!! Always thought he was jealous…
Songs like these just transports me back to 2015😔🔥
More like 2013 or 2014
This video calms me down for some reason. It's hard to put it in words but there's something mesmerizing and tranquilizing about this mv
Favorite song of Exis. So happy this song received some visuals.
I think we're entering a new Golden Age of music.
Girl I stay high never sober, you could have stayed but it's over cuz you soo jealous of meee 🔥
the first few seconds captures his youth and beauty so well. ulttimate canadian vibe moments after that
If you are listening to this in and past 2020, you love good music.
