When they announced the new england manager I thought of Ben first and the hope he would change his mind. Then this video pops up and I get to learn a little more about him. What a wonderful human and a dog lover to boot. You do what is best for you Ben and wishing you well. My favorite footballer for sure now. Excellent interview from Fozzie. White is an interesting footballer, very refreshingly different. I like how he keeps himself to himself, strong aspects of a classic introvert showing I think! I suspect the man is very intelligent, and he certainly does not suffer fools gladly, which may explain his reasoning around his decision not to play for England under the previous manager. I assume there was an agreement with Fozzie not to ask him questions about playing for England - which leads me to think that White may have a change of heart about playing under Tuchel. I guess we will see soon!

Wow, a really great interview. I think this is the most I've heard from BW since he came to Arsenal. Has cemented my view of him as one of the best players in the Prem. Not necessarily in terms of ability but he would defo be one of those players that can't be measured by on the pitch ability. I would imagen he is amazing in the changing room, at half time.. really keeps things grounded.

Ben is the very definition of a Zeta male who are confident, independent individuals not easily swayed by peer pressure. They dance to the beat of their own drum. I really respect Ben’s approach to football. Footballers deserve a private family life, and if they don’t want to be a ‘celebrity’ they shouldn’t be forced into it. There’s also different ways to perform at the top level, for some players being obsessed with football is probably necessary, but for Ben, it seems he performs best if he treats football as ‘just a job’ and who is anyone else to judge that.
