- Join me for an afternoon of wildlife photography photographing Kingfishers at a local nature reserve where I also encounter other species of birds such as Wagtails and Lapwings.
I'm really delighted with the pictures I was able to get and one of the best things about photographing kingfishers at a nature reserve is they are wild and nothing is artificially staged.

Thank you very much. I'd be very happy to test out your new pre-capture feature on the R5 mk2 with these!! 😉
Fantastic shots Phil. Welcome back.
Thanks, Gary. Glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate the comment. I don't mean to leave as such it's just that often when I go out I don't get anything interesting in order to make a video. I've got another one that I've already started putting togther, I jst need to find the time to finish it off.
Great shots and video, I need to visit Langford again for longer when I am up that way again.
Thanks, David 👍
Hi Phil. Great shots. I just came across your channel and thought, " I recognise that voice" 😂. I worked with you about 20 years ago at Guardsman, I recall you had an interest in photography then, good to see you and hope you enjoy your wildlife photography. I am going to update my Flikr account and will send you the link so you can see some of my Kingfisher shots that have been challenging to say the least. Cheers Ian
Oh my goodness, how could I not forget the man from the East Riding of Yorkshire - of course I rememebr you, Ian!!! I trust youre keeping well? What a small world! I had no idea you were into wildlife photography. I got into photography in 2018 when I bought my first ever DSLR, and then used UA-cam to teach myself how to use it and take photos. I eventually stumbled into wildlife photography as I've always been an outdoors sort of person. Thanks very much for your comment and yes, please do send me your flickr link. 👍
