How much of the undeveloped land in Phoenix is privately held? Seems like every hillside is dotted with mansions! I consider myself lucky to have public lands that are wild and undeveloped.
@@mnj640 it's a locality specific color phase from the Phoenix area. They blend in with the coloration of the rocks where they live, and the blue ones are the coolest although a lot of people like the high white ones from South West AZ.
Yes Speckled rattlesnakes are various colors according to the locality where they live. It's called crypsis, they evolved to match the terrain they live in and their camouflage is excellent.

Speckled rattlesnake did look great in that aloe pot.
I have my rattlesnake solutions shirt on today, ready for the Tucson reptile show! Nothing better than a blue spec to start the day!
The pot was the best colour match.
Thank you for advocating for nature!
1:02 - I hope Marissa got a chance to recommend to that gentleman that he get rid of the sticky traps.
Beautiful snakes guys!!
Can we just stop and appreciate the shark straw topper on Marissa’s water bottle. 🦈 🥤 😂
Awesome video. Thanks for the release tip about being specific.
I literally thought that was a commercial...I was looking for the "skip" tab. 😆
Same here
Love it when the snake waits for you to show up
Yikes! I better start checking my potted plants regularly.
Instead of calling someone about a snake they should have called a plaster guy 😂
GORGEOUS spec!!!!
That spec was cool and all, but are we just gonna ignore all those buckets of Kikkoman Soy Sauce?!?!

"This neighborhood has the coolest snakes."
