Thank you for making this video. A big fan of Secrets resorts and booked this hotel sight unseen in June 2021 for my bday trip next year Jan 2022. The resort wont officially open until Aug 1 2021 and no pics of the actual rooms on the website so would be great to see the rooms as well :)
I had to double check, but it appears as though both resorts (Secrets and Dreams) have the same map posted on their website. Are the two resorts combined? Or are they separated in some manner? It looks as though the "adult only" pool is the Secrets side.
Food is awful there (talking cantina style - worst than McDonald's) and you can't do anything or go anywhere unless you pay for their "Preferred program" ($75 per person/day) or attend their 1H30 min sales pitch. Total ripoff. Overall, awful hotel.
@@mrki731 what do you mean by ‘can’t do anything or go anywhere’ Also what are you comparing the food to? We’ll be going there next week so I wanna know what to expect
@@alexravlo Well, I need to revise it a little maybe. The French restaurant and 1 bar was excellent. But when we first arrived at noon, the buffet was closed (odd time to close a buffet restaurant - it's only open up to 11am and then opens again at 1:30) and the food was so bad. We got really scared. So we went to oilo and the food was terrible too. Also, we upgraded from DREAMS to SECRETS by paying $110 extra per day but when we got the keys, the concierge said that to access the pools and nice restaurants (anything except the buffet) we had to pay $75 per person per day to access the preferred member areas. Unless we go through their sales pitch (1H30). SO it's a bit scammy that way. For activities, there is nothing really to do at night, except for diners and bars. And during the day, it's mostly swimming pool. So, it's very quiet.

They are a combined property with the secrets pools toward the front
