The Smaller Eclipse gives you more hill climbing torque but you sacrifice top end speed over the larger chain ring. On the plus side you'll have fewer chain drops during full speed endeavors with the Eclipse thanks to a better chain line & the narrow wide teeth spacing.
This looks almost exactly like the one I got. www.amazon.com/Exustar-E-CCG20-Chain-Guide-Black/dp/B00GR38NK8/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=chain+tensioner+guide&qid=1588717856&sr=8-7
This bike had a 3 ring when I got it. If you are switching to a single ring like I did, the derailleur is easily removable often times just mounted to the bike with a ring clamp. I think you have to switch to a single ring with the BBSHD but if you use a hub motor you can still run 3 in the front.

My 46 is doing great. Good chainline and shifting, no slips. Older Mongoose aluminum bonded frame MTB with Answer elastomer fork.

Hi, could I ask what do you do with a front delailure if a bike has one on a bike with 3 front chain ring gears? Thanks.

since you went with the 3 spacers you probably could have got the lekkie and not ran any spacers
True but I prefer the look of the Eclipse.
