Hey Kevin, those cleaned up really well! I really like that tobacco tin. Nice tip!💖
Hi Cynthia... thanks. Yeah, the tin is pretty cool. I'm not sure of the age of it though
Turned out great, awesome idea!!
Thanks man... worked better than I was expecting. There was some heavy rust on those
Cleaned up pretty good Bro,. Kevin I don't watch lots of channels but I enjoy yours ah Bunch. Have a good week Man ✌️😎
Just started watching and can't wait to how this goes :) That worked pretty well I must say. I have several old tin beer cans that need a little TLC. I will give this a go for sure :)
I will study a lot, I am digging a bottle in Japan. I subscribed to the channel! Nice to meet you 👍
that stuff works like a charm, enjoyed watching, and willy thought it was pretty cool too👍 and will try and pop out a vid soon big guy☺ take care
Very neat thanks for sharing
This is a fantastic video I will use this if I ever get lucky enough to find some old beer cans. Now it’s time for you to go out and get those conetops . Great video thank you
Hey Harry... I brought a conetop home a few days ago. Cleaned it up enough to get an ID... turned out to be Crown Brand maple syrup lol
@@harryhumstone3149 Thank you. I have hundreds of them, I guess I'll get to work. Using citric acid.
Nice job get anything for that product placement lol. Like watching definitely need to dig out the detector and do some looking
Lol... not one red cent. Thanks for watching, man... much appreciated
That stuff works good. I used to use the oxalic acid years ago. All the old beer cans around here are beyond crunchy.
Morning Tony... right, I think that one ended up inside of a food can, so it was protected a bit
Thank you! I’ve been trying to clean this antique coffee tin to make into a candle!
Yeah I wonder if that will work on some of those hard bottle stains. Sometimes I dont know what mineral is causing the staining. Those turned out really nice!
Morning karisma... I have used it on glass. It usually works well.
Great video. Just one of the many ways to remove rust. My preference is Metal Rescue as it's biodegradable and non toxic.
Thanks for watching... one of these days, I'm going to try the electrolysis method. Have you tried that yet ?
@@Travelling..Bottle..Digger I've tried it on solid iron objects, not tin or items painted. I've also seen Citric acid used on old tins with great results. There are many hacks, everyone has their preference, yours worked well. The tobacco tin is nice!
@@CoinandRelicOntario right. I have a few solid items I'm going to try it on. This rust stain remover was simply an experiment. It worked quite well on these two items. More tests will need to be done.
@@Travelling..Bottle..Digger That's part of the fun, experimenting. Who doesn't like being a scientist once in a while. 😁
Pretty cool stuff
Thanks for watching and commenting, Danny... much appreciated
That works pretty good came up very nice thanks for shearing mate 👍👍👍👍👍
@@Travelling..Bottle..Digger 👍 I wonder if I tipped it over my head weather it would make me beautiful 😂🤣😂🤣
@@digginghistorytasmania3897 lmao... I'm a bit rusty myself
That rust stain remover worked pretty well!🙂
Oh heck yeah ! I'm thinking of using it in combination with my tooth paste lol
Love the K man!! Quite a story Kruegers brewing has!
Nice! Thanks for the tip. Wishing you all the best. Good luck, happy hunting and take care.
Pretty good result.
Hi Mel... thanks, I was pleased with the results. They turned out much better than I was expecting. Thanks for watching
Good stuff. I wonder what equivalent we may have in Australia? Certainly have not seen that product before. Maybe CLR?🤔
I have CLR as well... it's a different product. This is granular and is some sort of sulphite.
Those turned out good. I use citric acid and it works very well.
Hi and thanks, buddy... i'll give that a try one of these days
Wowzers, it works really well!
Morning Deej... yeah, I was more than satisfied with the results
Amzing how clean thay cone up hope that you are well brother
Thanks Tyson buddy... doing well thanks. Hope you're well too
Not to shabby, not to shabby at tol'
Thanks Bruce buddy... yeah, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome
I have a cigarette tin from WW1, might try this
Yeah, it might clean up pretty good. Worth a try... can't hurt it
It doesn't bother your skin? Check it out 👍
Actually, it seemed to make my hands soft ... I washed it right off though lol
They turned out really well, I've always had problems trying to clean cans.
I guess I need to keep an eye out for that iron out stuff 👍😎🍻
Hey Reed... thanks, buddy. Yeah, it worked quite well...cheers !
