Fun video. I've been so distracted, I forgot all about Halloween. It's good to see you making fun videos. You'll learn and grow in your videomaking skills the more you make videos in creative ways.
I think the bird sound in the video's intro is from a Corvus macrorhynchos called Large-billed, it continues with the sound in the external environment of the recording at various times.
The Doors song "Not to Touch the Earth" lyrics ... "Not to touch the earth, not to see the sun..." are subchapters of the 60th chapter of The Golden Bough by James Frazer. The chapter is called "Between Heaven and Earth", with subchapter 1, "Not to Touch the Earth", and subchapter 2, "Not to See the Sun".
As a Pagan, I sheepishly have to admit that I have always accepted those narratives and never considered they may be false. While I have practiced ancestor veneration in the past, I would set up a Dumb supper and leave a plate of food for those who have passed. I think it's a nice tradition, actually. I recommend that people incorporate it, as it allows us to pause and reflect. I like the definition of Halloween as a liminal state. It defines it well, as we are transitioning into a challenging time of the year for those living north of the equator, with the fall harvest and feasting making sense. However, the liminal state of the earth transitioning from life (Warmth, green, growing etc) to death (winter) with that "thin" veil also makes sense. I have been uncovering and researching the Catholic (Roman) /Christian influence on our society and the things we take for granted. I grew up Episcopalian but went to a Catholic high school. It's essential to keep in mind that the Roman Catholic/Christian Church was essentially Pagan in many ways, with Roman religious rites mixed with Abrahamic religious rights and elements from other cultures.
Halloween and November 1st The Day of the Dead is in remembrance of the great flood. When else in history has so many people perished at one time in one event? It is now something far different. Blessings to you
Not sure if you are in support of having fun on Halloween, or simply wanting to make people aware of their consumer ignorance. A little bit of both, to keep it balanced? 😂
Same goes for Christmas coinciding with the Winter Solstice...and everything that comes with it. The nitty gritty of what many modern Christians refuses to acknowledge. If I were to be forced to participate between Halloween and today's rendition of Christmas with everything I know, I'd choose Halloween. That said, I do not partake in Halloween nor Christmas. At least not how many people in today's society celebrates it. And no, definitely never celebrated the Easter bunny, colored eggs, etc that goes with Easter either. And no, I do NOT feel I was left out of anything as I grew up in the 80s.
@@Tmhjr_Baskar Yep! If you go down that rabbit hole about origins... You will want vomit because of your personal involvement in something that intensely grotesque. Just because everybody does it, doesn't mean that it should be practised without question and scrutinistion. Once you know, you know.
@@suzywilson yeah. Learned the truth more than 20 years ago and a part of me still regrets learning of certain atrocities. I may have grown up not believing in santa/ole saint nick, but it wasn't until adulthood that I found out why my parents insisted we didn't partake in the secular celebrations. My parents insisted we learn things for ourselves once we left the nest...and then come to our own conclusions. For that I'm grateful.
@@suzywilson for the most part, yes. Was brought up in a Christian household. We weren't allowed to start branching out til we each hit 15. I experimented with things once I left the nest, lol. My younger sisters did the same thing. Can't speak for them, but in my case I felt it was disrespectful to delve into things while still in their care. Especially if whatever I got into went against what we were taught growing up. Which proved to be a very smart idea, lol!
I will say that the Protestants really have sucked.. LOL... I mean RELIGION in general is something folks should deep dive.... especially how Christianity actually came to be.. who "Jesus" was .. the origins of the development of the BIBLE etc etc...

The question is, what are the origins of the leather mini skirt ?
Originally a leather apron to protect an Irish shoemaker. (I may have just made that up ha ha)
Well done beautiful girl.
Have a good halloween Day Alisha ❤ 👍
😍😍😍
A sexy bumblebee... or a Sexy black cat... whatever

"There are some substances on Planet Earth that will make you feel like this at any time of year, but let's continue." 😅
Deep in the books, scripted religious traditions documented Abraham, Issac, and Jacob were accredited, prophesied not ???

If you dig a little deeper down the rabbit hole you are in, you will find the reason why it is referred to as evil or satanic.
