    I love the Google Sheets templates for Asana . Have you created any videos or information showing more about the template sheets which I can see without signing up for the whole automation course.

    Helpful! Question how did you breakup your subtask and give them subtask header names? I'd love to do this and cannot figure it out. On 2:04 is where you show this.

    Thanks for the informative video John, I appreciate you sharing your system. I'm just starting an Asana/Slack integration, so it's nice to see yours in action. One question, Asana gives the ability to create project and task templates, so I'm curious why you keep all the project/task information in a spreadsheet. Is there a specific advantage you've found in doing so rather than making Asana templates?

      Hey! Thanks for checking out the video! GREAT question! We save them in spreadsheets so we have them on record. Also, we still use the FREE Asana account! We have TONS of tools we use on a monthly basis. Creating the spreadsheets helps us keep records of our templates off of Asana's platform. Plus, it's easier to share with clients who don't necessarily have access to our Asana platform. i hope that helps!

      @@5fourdigitalmarketing You can use the task example and call it eg LogoDesignTemplate, assign the tasks to the correct people, and then duplicate it when you have a new project to work on. That way you don't need to pay for an upgraded version and you make sure all the categorizations and details are never missed.

    Another Q - why do you think its better to create task projects and tag client name as opposed to the client being the main level project? (Same with Slack - having a client be the channel?)

      Also, one of the things thats annoying about having clients in projects is I feel like the To Do list isn't organized. Does it work to have projects as tasks (ie: PPC, FB Ads, etc) and then have custom fields as the clients? The only issue with this is how do you then get a snapshot overview for each client?

    Hey John how are you setting up your google sheets in order to have Asana recognize the Sections Headers in the subtask?

      Hey! Thanks for your question. Asana recently snatched this feature as they made it harder to create section headers (tab+n)

      @@5fourdigitalmarketing Hey John! This video is SO helpful! Thanks! So, I can't get the copy+ paste to work with sections and tasks. Sounds like they have removed the ability to do this. Are you creating section headings and pasting the smaller groups of tasks rather than the whole list at one time, or have you guys figured out a quick workaround?

      @@christopherballew4893 I found a workaround in Flowsana. When a new task is created in that project, you can add the subtasks of a template task to that new task.

    actually, I appreciate what you're doing ( tutorials, courses ..etc )
    in fortunately this video help me a lot because I'm going to launch & operation my startup company team .. thanks a lot for that
    but I've got complicated a little bit of those jobs which I saw it on your excel sheet ( jobs template )
    if you can give it to me I really appreciate that will help me so much because a lot of service in your agency we already have in our startup company
