A way for maufactures to maximise performance data whilst saving costs. Could seriously leave driver in limbo and safty compromised . No good for side wall split.

Or buy a spare wheel - saves the cost of having to completely replace a punctured tyre after its been "gunked" plus the cost of replacing the gunk ready for next time. Plus a spare wheel works EVERY time no matter how bad the puncture.
Perhaps the whole gunk fix idea is an industry wide con?

The Skoda Style 2L, TDI, 4WD, DSG I viewed at the dealer in New Zealand, had no space to put a space saver tyre! I agree with you. I feel very uncomfortable without a spare, even if its just a space saver spare. The fact it had no spare tyre or a space to put one, I did not purchase the car. I bought a Tiguan 2L, 4WD TDI Highline, DSG instead.
