This isn't just Owl City. The other voice is Satoshi Fukase. The lead singer of the band SEKAI NO OWARI and also the voice the provider for the VOCALOID Fukase. I think it's great that both collaborated to make this great piece of music

I know we're all thinking it, so I'll speak for all of us by saying that Adam Young is an incredibly talented, and innocent musician who only ever conveys happiness. And we can all agree that his songs are much more positive than the new songs of today, with the drugs, violence, sex, and more.
I'd agree with most of it, but his songs seem to convey wistfulness and loneliness to me, rather than happiness.
Maybe that's the whole "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" thing

This fact that Owl City loves Japan just like me makes me love him so much him.. I found out about him because of fireflies back in 10th grade (im 20 now) and he is favorite artist. If I am ever sad that doesn't last long if I just listen to all of his songs, so many of them are way to amazing and full of happiness for you to sit there all moody and shit! I want to go to japan.

Until I read this comment I hadn't paid enough attention to realize that there where 2 different people singing 😅
I get so tired of people saying "It's not the same as it used to be." Yeah, that would be because he's written, produced, and released upwards of 70-80 songs of just his own work. If you don't like his music now as much as his old stuff, then that's your opinion. Just because his stuff now isn't a carbon copy of his older music it doesn't mean it's not as good. TMS was definitely more mainstream than we're used to from him, but you can't listen to Ultraviolet and tell me he's lost his touch. His wordplay is just as amazing and heartfelt in that EP as it's always been

Liked his music,since I was a kid,and just found who that awesome singer is.happy days..
This is the reason I love Owl City: Among all of his deeply spiritual songs, which I unfortunately can't really relate to or understand because I'm Agnostic, he creates lots equally powerful songs about love, friendship, and inner strength that give me the same inspiration that a Christian gets from songs like Your Not Alone. Thank you Adam, you are a master of song. :)
This is such an amazing mixture of old-school OC and the new age counterpart. I absolutely adore the elements of both, and hope he keeps incorporating the styles from his much earlier , sinthy works into his new pop feel. Getting those old feels from the new tracks is the absolute best.

the good thing from Owl City is that he never cares so much on his fame nor how long time required for production on his songs; he just cares a lot on how the good vibes and messages in his songs can be delivered and the quality of his songs in the ears of the listener. Owl City, you are amazing. You choose Christian faith over money, you make good songs, you worship God in some of them, and you don't sing about things like other singers. You're songs are appropriate for children of all ages and they are awesome. You are the best.

Everybody is holding on to the Fireflies Adam Young. You all don't realize that people change and so does their creativity. If you are listening to this song expecting to sound like his old stuff then you will be disappointed. I personally love this song very much, the lyrics reside with me since I am a missionary and travel often, and miss the ones i love.

This is one of the best Owl City songs in a very long time. The Ultraviolet EP is AMAZING and I love it more than his last full length album.... but this song has something very special to it. From the magical arpeggiator in the beginning, to that unforgettable bassline throughout the song, and Adam's warm and lovely voice to give the track such a delicate and dreamy feel to it. This song is so nostalgic to me.
