It’s also nostalgic because of people that have played Minecraft near the beginning, when subwoofer lullaby was still in the game. It’s such a perfect song that will instantly make some people feel nostalgia.

No idea how people found it a happy sound. To me, it makes me feel completely alone, hopeless, sad, but perhaps peacefulness. Perhaps peacefulness is what people are mistaking as "happiness", or the freedom feeling to it. Not sure. But I know it was specifically not made to be happy, but to invoke a sense of "you are alone in this world", yet "you can do whatever you want. This is a peaceful world that you can build upon". There is some great video about this but I forgot its name.

I remember the good old days of getting out of school and it being summer break, then running back home and powering on the dusty n64 and playing Ocarina of Time while your parents were in the back arguing or trying to pay the bills. I remember being forced to go outside and play with the kids that lived in your neighborhood, then when you went back inside you'd be so tired and hot that you would resort to putting your head in the freezer to cool down.
