Everyone should spend a few days in the Clare Valley...it has a lot going for it...and if you had the time ,you could combine a holiday there with the Barossa Valley. Not far from Clare is Burra and Kapunda....both these places a worth a visit too.Auburn is a nice base and just 20 minutes from Clare, the major town in the area.Off the main road are many short drives, some on dirt roads,to many of the vineyards and wineries and tucked away places to stay.
