- アメリカ ユタ州 キャニオンランズ国立公園内にある世界最難のワイドクラック「センチュリークラック5.14b」を登る事を目標に4年間トレーニングして挑戦したワイドクラックが大好きなクライマーのドキュメンタリー映像です。
映像の冒頭は2022年10月中旬、センチュリークラックを探している場面から始まります。
この時が初めて4年間想い続けたセンチュリークラックを見た瞬間になります。

This is a documentary video about a dedicated climber who spent 4 years training to challenge the world's toughest wide crack, "Century Crack 5.14b," located within Canyonlands National Park, Utah, USA, in 2023.
The video begins in mid-October 2022, showing the climber searching for Century Crack. This moment marks the first time he laid eyes on the crack that he had been dreaming about for the past 4 years.
The production was entrusted to Mr. Takemi Suzuki, known as TAKEMOVE.

冒頭なんですが、実は1発撮りなんです！
多分ここらへんだろうというポイントに車止めて、裕介さんに15分くらいでセンチュリー見つけて戻ってきます。と言ってタケミさんと僕だけでセンチュリー見つけに行きました。見つけるまでの1時間、ずっとタケミさんがビデオ回してくれていて、その様子が冒頭の映像になります☺️

そりゃそうですよね。もし、あれが演技だったら、オスカーも夢じゃないと思います！あの一連の映像では完全にカメラマンの存在を意識していないように見えるので、それだけ対象に集中していたんだろうな、と感じ入りました。

Century Crackってどこにあるのかなと思い見始めたら、なんかよく知っている景色が広がった。私の愛するCanyonlsnds国立公園だった。それにしてもすごいですねぇ。
I'm not a crack climber. I don't want to one day climb century crack. I haven't finished watching the film. But already, after 3 minutes in, I already have goosebumps and a drive to train much harder. Ganba!
